With St Paul's Cathedral to one side, Tate Modern to the other, and the City on your doorstep, it's hard to get more central than Premier Inn London Blackfriars. In fact, for a short break, we're perfectly placed. Wander to the West End and Covent Garden. Stroll along the Thames to Big Ben and the London Eye. Or catch a show at the world- famous Mermaid Theatre, just next door. And, with many of the world's biggest companies just minutes away, we're ideal for business trips too. Whether it's been work or play, you'll return to a friendly team, extra-comfy beds and an excellent breakfast.

Hotel is in a great location as mentioned before. Staff at check-in are super friendly and helpful. As soon as we arrived, about 12pm, staff got our bags in the luggage store. This enabled us to go out and start our holiday. Location is great - 20mins walk to Trafalgar Square. Lots of places to eat/drink close by. Our only issue was our room, which was in the basement. Room clean and ready for our arrival but being below ground level was not what I’d expected and made me feel uncomfortable. It was a real trek along a long winding corridor to get to our room. Sadly, I couldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone who would feel uncomfortable below ground level. Not sure if you can pay extra to avoid these rooms.

Hotel's Favourite
Really cannot fault this hotel at all, it delivered in every way. Room was great size, with really comfy bed, big bath and decent TV. Staff were super friendly, which is rare in London. Breakfast was pretty good, nothing to write home about but when it’s unlimited for £10 you can’t complain. Also, ideal location as a base for exploring London

PI London Blackfriars was a great choice for my first night in London. I arrived later in the evening as a solo female 1st time visitor to London, and I wanted a location which was very close to the Tube station that first night. This spot was perfect- literally across and up to the next street and in behind the main road. If you cross and turn at the Tesco on the corner, head in maybe 25 meters, you will see the hotel right ahead on the street to the right. The room was comfortable and clean; the continental breakfast was lovely. Great value for the price. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again in the future. It is a great location and price and value for central London

You have to specifically request room cleaning each day, but there was nothing in the room explaining this so I didn't understand why my room wasn't being cleaned until the last day when I noticed a sign in the elevator saying cleaning is only provided on request. If I had known that, I would have requested it since 4 nights is a long time to go with no cleaning. I was very surprised at the slow speed of the free wifi (faster internet was available for a fee). For a fairly expensive hotel I would expect decent wifi to be provided for free. The breakfast was the same every morning so that got a bit monotonous, and there wasn't much of a choice.

This was our first experience with Premier Inn and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was remodeled and lovely and the bed was super comfy. My husband and I slept like champs! The hotel is centrally located with some express shops to get some staples for your stay and the Blackfriars Tube station is like a 5 minute walk. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Their daily breakfast has a lot of options and is really affordable. We highly recommend this hotel and its location!

Came in to a dirty bedroom, pillows inside the covers were dirty, floor not hoovered, bathroom floor dirty, only one towel (for 2 people staying) and the bed was very uncomfortable and bumpy. Would not stay there again, ever!

Upgraded premium room, clean and very quiet. Short walk from St Paul's Cathedral. All the Staff that we interacted with were helpful and enthusiastic. Room windows hadn't been cleaned on the outside for a while, but assume this was an energy saving decision.
