Perfect for our planned trip to Ronnie Scotts. Easy access to everything Soho or even Covent garden and the surrounding area has to offer. Great pubs and eateries, theaters and shopping. Central line underground station five minute walk.

The location of this hotel was perfect…. The staff were eager to please, nothing was too much trouble for them…. Can’t wait to come back… A little noisy outside at night but not too late….. definitely would benefit from black out blinds or curtains for those of us who like the dark but that’s the only mild negative 😊

Our visit to London was for my 30th birthday and it did not disappoint. The stylish hotel was central and 1 street away from oxford street so that was really handy. Everything is basically on your doorstep including Tesco which is great incase you forget to pack something. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with a lovely rain shower and complimentary shampoo and shower gel. Bath mat, hand towels and bath towels were already in the bathroom. There was a small kitchenette behind some doors which included sink, coffee machine, microwave, bowls, glasses, small fridge, kettle and bins. Unfortunately there were building works right outside our window which finished at 5pm and started at 8am. I know this cannot be helped but we had to have our blind shut the whole time otherwise the workers would have been looking right into our window. This didn’t affect us an awful amount as we were out exploring most of the time and not in the room. I believe the hotel can arrange breakfast for you but there is no restaurant to eat in. We walked around the corner to Gail’s bakery in the morning and there is also a breakfast club near. The staff were really really friendly and helped us with any query we had. Outside of the check in/out times, they stored our bags as we didn’t want to carry them round whilst shopping/sightseeing. Extras for my birthday we’re a free bottle of white wine left in the fridge and a balloon display (partner arranged and payed extra for this) but the staff went above and beyond and made it really special. Closet tube station is Tottenham Court Road which is a 5 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again and thank you to all the lovely staff!

Dear 98jessiew, Thank you so much for this beautiful review, we were more than happy to be a part of your very special birthday celebration, we thank you for choosing us as your location in London, you really picked a great spot, Soho is the bustling heart of London, with so much variety and endless choice for eating/drinking and shopping, ideal for a special celebration in style Great choice for breakfast, Gails is delicious, we also enjoy going there for their amazing scones and the brownies are amazing I am sorry to know that the works outside were disruptive to your stay, this is not ideal and although it is out of our control, we do apologize for this, we want our guests to have the most amazing experience with us Our team truly enjoyed meeting you both and we hope to have you return very soon Have a wonderful Friday Pauline

I stayed here for 6 nights while I did walking tours of Soho and all Central London. It was a great place to stay. The room was perfect for my needs, with all the necessary amenities. But what really sets the Resident Soho apart is its staff. They were probably the nicest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. Thank you Anne, Farhaan, Sandra, Evita, Pablo, Bia, Maria, and any others whose names I don't know for making my visit to London so enjoyable and memorable!!

We had a one night stay for my birthday and the service we received on arrival so was welcoming and informative. The room was perfect with a mini kitchen so we were able to chill our pre drinks, and have breakfast and a coffee in the morning. The hotel was very clean and of a good standard. I received a bottle of wine and card from the hotel for my birthday which was a lovely gesture. The view from the room was of building works next door, but we arrived late on the night of arrival and went out to a show, so really did not have much time in the room. If I was staying for longer I would prefer a room with a better view. Building works next door is obviously not the fault of the hotel! The hotel is in a great location and this meant we could walk everywhere and did not need to use the tube. The hotel held our luggage for the day so this meant we could walk around without our luggage for the day. All in all we had a great time and certainly will return. Thank you to all at The Resident Soho.

Dear joadcock75, Thank you very much for this lovely review of your birthday stay, we are delighted you chose us to spend this wonderful celebration, I have noted that the location of the room was not ideal for you and we will be available at any time to discuss the room types and views when you are ready to return to see us I am sorry that the noise of the works nearby was a disruption, as you so rightly mentioned it is nothing to do with the hotel but nevertheless, any negative for you is upsetting for us to read, we want our guests to have the most amazing experience with us so for this I am terribly sorry, we will look for the very best option for you for both sleep quality and view for the next time We hope to hear from you soon Kindest regards Pauline
