The place is just awesome. I stayed alone in September in a room of 8. It was quite a small room for 8 people and just managed to get in my bed asking for permission to open my bag, but what I enjoyed the most were the common rooms. Its a great place to stay with your group of friends,...

I started my trip in London and stayed at the Generator. It was close to the underground and a few blocks away from the British Museum and other attractions. Be sure to get your Oyster Card before your trip because the underground is the way to go when exploring the city. The staff was very friendly and answered all of...

my review on this hostel is not as good as some other people could because even though the common area and the reception were good, the security man was blunt and not polite and the bathroom were small and disgusting.

We stayed here for two nights in a 12 bedshare. Amazing location - super close to King's Cross. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags, friendly staff- especially Adam AKA the Tall Guy with a scraggly beard!

The staff was warm. Really good location, not far from both King's cross station and Russell square station. Close to a nice grocery store(waitrose) and several nice cafes around. But the bunks were not so stable, it shakes heavily when another person turnover or something, and the sockets in the room were not enough.(2 for 8 beds)

Generator is a super cool place to stay in LDN. Really central, near the British Museum. They have a club too and the DJ was immense - playing tunes for the Spanish guests and then the German and then Dutch - it was such a LOL! If you don't wanna go far just stay in the club there!!

The staff was really nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable and all the facilities were very clean. The hostel has many common areas from a bar to a screening room for movies or a pool hall. Despite this, we were on the second floor (just above reception) and didn't hear any noise. There are also extra services as phone...

Very good place to stay. It is close to London landmarks- about 30 minutes walking to any of them. 10 minutes to the King's Cross if you are traveling from the airport. Clean rooms, restrooms and showers, helpful staff :)

The hostel is located between King Cross and Russel Square station, it can be reached by walking distance 5-10 mins. And it is very close to the British Museum as well! The interior design in the hostel is very cool! Security strict and checking if anybody still make some noise during sleeping hours, which is very good!

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
