This place is just awful, so old and tired with no redeeming features. The room is so small as is the bathroom and everything is worn and marked. There is nowhere in the building to make a coffee, not even a snack machine. The man on reception was so unfriendly and unhelpful , we were lucky to get so much...

Stayed here for 3 nights. The room was very, very small, but it got everything we needed for having a good rest - TV, bathroom, desk, Wifi, breakfast, only 2-3 min to King's X Station ... With this price, what could we expect? I was positively surprised with European Hotel.

I booked this for a pre-planned night in London. For the cost I wasn't expecting much (and I have stayed in worst hotels in London for roughly the same cost). The room was on the top floor, I was given a choice but I thought the exercise is good for me. Hindsight it might have been an error. Exercise was...

room is small but acceptable a little bit expensive for the type of hotel but close to everything you want to see or with easy access, you can hear the noise from the rom next to you wich is not pleasant when you`re trying to rest

This hotel is mega-inexpensive and it's in a pleasant square just across the road from Kings Cross railway station. A great location. At this price I wasn't expecting it to be the Hilton and it isn't. Staff were fine. Room was fine. Amenities were very basic but for about £44 a night (for a single room, ex-VAT) it is in...

This is the worst place I have ever stayed, the rooms are small, they advertise en suite, trust me, I couldn't even bring myself to get in the shower, it was disgusting. Rooms have a tiny TV but I could only get one channel at best. The whole place has a "smell about it" Breakfast is served in the basement,...

I would only recommend this hotel if you have no other choice. The rooms are old, dirty (even the bed linen) and there is a strange smell. Bathroom is tiny, which would`t be a problem if it was at least clean. It`s one of the worst places I`ve ever stayed and it`s still expensive. Breakfast is very simple - scrambled...

Stayed here before but this time it was quite bad. Our room must have been the sewer for all the toilets in the hotel! Room number 7 (for management to sort it) Every time somebody flushed a toilet in the hotel, a gurgling noise would occur then sewage would bubble from the shower!! The smell was disgusting!! We stayed here...

I stayed at European hotel for 1 night recently. I needed a cheap hotel and, for London, this fits the bill at £75 inc breakfast. When I arrived I was met by a surly receptionist who brightened up a bit later. My room was on the top floor and there is no lift. The room was tiny for a double....

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
