I arrived during the night and haba reservation through Amex, there is a corporate account so Amex paid them. They charged me anyway the full amount but didn't give me an invoice until the last day the front desk agency said but why? I paid...More

We hope that we will welcome you back soon!
We stayed two nights. Ate breakfast one day not the other, and ate dinner one night in the hotel.
All were completely really just fine with reasonable portion sizes (some restaurants give horribly large portons that just don't make sense - such a waste.)
Stayed at the Ibis London City whilst visiting the World Athletic Champs.
Great location right next to the tube. Really excellent value with comfy beds and clean room. Pleasant staff, and a good bar with modern surroundings. Food looked good although we didn't eat there.
I know the east pretty well now and when I saw this location for ibis, I thought I should give it a try. It is probably the best located hotel in London with trains and buses at the doorstep, along with very easy walking to...More

Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a
cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.

The hotel is easy to get to from Kings Cross, they will need to get the eastbound Hammersmith and City line from the underground at Kings Cross and get off at Aldgate East, which is more or less next to the hotel. Staff at the hotel can help with directions in the area. To get to Stratford, where the stadium is, I think the best way would be to get the Central line eastbound from Liverpool Street underground. They could get to Liverpool Street either by the tube line (one stop heading west), or by walking up on Commercial Street and then through Spitalfields, which is a nice stroll.
