We also require written notice, and cancellation fees will be charged from your credit card. No money is debited to your credit card before arrival (unless a cancellation should occur), but we do often pre-authorise the amount of the first night of your stay. This is not a full transaction, but may show up on your statement. Payment in full can be made in cash, traveller’s cheques in pounds, or credit card upon your arrival.
