This place is bloody basic. After checking in, and paying up front(!), we were given our key to our twin room on the top floor. The stairs were like something from a crooked house at a fun fair. We didnt really need to unlock the door to our room, the lock was falling off and the hinge was held in...

Dirty, stinky, loud, Absolute disaster.Foreign receptionist very loudly trying to sort out a different job on the phone at 8 in the morning. I had to stay just one night, but it was already too much. The blanket looked like I was afraid to touch it. In the so called 'bathroom' - broken mirror, mold, smell. Stay away. And its...

To say that this place is a [--] would be an insult to faeces and orifices everywhere. I am genuinely shocked that anyone could be permitted to open this building to the public, never mind think that it is morally acceptable to charge people to stay here. The word "budget" does not fully express just how grim the accommodation is....

It was worth it, a bit untidy compared to other hotels I have been to. But we did still enjoy the night. the location was okay. Another issue was that the bathroom was outside the room. funny isn't it.

On arrival we went in to what was someones room got the keys & went in to our room. Our room wasn't very big but fine for 1 night. Beds were comfy & warm. The electrics in the place are not safe, never seen anything like it. Be very careful!!! There was loads of cobwebs on the ceiling! The Bathroom...

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
