It was a pleasant holiday trip over eastern weakend. The location is very near to the Tower Bridge and the Tower. The other location as the St.Pauls Cathedral, Governt garden, and etc is possible to do by footwalk.

My husband was running the marathon today and so we looked for a hotel close to tower bridge and Tower Hill station. Upon arrival we...

The hotel is easy to find and right next to Tower Hill tube station. Great views over London Bridge and Tower of London. The hotel is having a...

We booked our hotel and flight together through Expedia and paid a fantastic price for it. The hotel is in a prime location surrounded by culture history and in walking distance of everything. We didn't eat at the hotel because we wanted to try different thing a but there was a menu in the room if we needed it. The...

Had a lovely weekend in this hotel. Great location and nice rooms. The first room we stayed in had uncovered air vents which made it too noisy. When we asked if it could be fixed, the staff just moved us and upgraded our room in the process. They even helped us move our things. The gym is pretty decent -...

Stayed here for a long weekend, great hotel, clean well appointed rooms, the staff are all very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. We arrived early and left our bags at reception, when we went back our belongings were waiting in our rooms. The hotel is in a great spot, tucked away on a little back street two minutes from...

We stayed for 4 nights - 2 adults, 2 children. Room was very clean and spacious; bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable; air conditioning worked great;water pressure in shower was very good! One of the quietest hotel rooms I've ever had!! Never heard anyone in neighboring rooms or in the hallway! There was some construction across the street...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
