My husband and I stayed at Pickwick for five nights on our most recent trip to London, and were pleased with our experience! This was our first time staying in any kind of hostel, and while it probably wasn't a "true" hostel experience (we had a private room and didn't see much of our fellow guests), it definitely exceeded our...

I haven't got a bad word to say about this place. My boyfriend booked for us for a weekend away in London and we had the private double which was very spacious. The area was quiet and safe and easily walkable from Leicester Sq, Covent Garden and China Town. Staff were friendly and the free breakfast in the morning (toast, cereal and coffee...

Great, clean and quiet accommodation. We had a private room downstairs which was more than adequate. The location is brilliant for accessing London on foot and via the tube. The owner even made us a cup of tea before we left. Such nice people. Many thanks!

This hostel is not really a hostel - it isn't full of backpackers or loud, drunk people. It is more for the traveller who needs a decent place to crash after a tiring day exploring within a central location. If you have never been to London before you need to realise that almost every accommodation venue (except the big fancy...

Great value, clean and tidy, quiet, I stayed in the 3 bedroom dorm, it was a very pleasant stay, breakfast was good - they allowed me to get my breakfast at 7.30. Great central location if you need to be in and around Holborn in the morning, I walked to my training session.

I stayed here one night with a friend in a shared room (4 beds). The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Showers were just next to the room and breakfast was included in the price - cereal, toast and tea/coffee. If you are looking for budget accommodation in London, you can't really go wrong with this place.

Excellent location, quiet and clean. Friendly enough staff that try to help, but have a limited command of English which complicates matters somewhat. I chose to stay at Pickwill Hall instead of hotel to be near my friends, so ended up paying for three beds to get an ensuite room - no value for money for me! The ensuite rooms...

My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights--the staff were friendly, the room was clean (with a personal refrigerator), and the location was excellent. The bathroom was just a few steps from our room and it was clean and the shower water was hot (the room with the shower was large for changing with a sink and tub). Our...
