We stayed here for one night, and the hotel itself is very impressive. All of the glass gives such an open and airy feel. Upon checkin we were advised we had a complementary upgrade which was amazing. The bar is very impressive. The hotel is in such a good location, with a few bars and restaurants in walking distance, as well as a couple of tube stations to get to the rest of London. We used the spa while we were here too, and it was really nice, although it looks as though it could do with some tidying up, with a few cracked tiles etc. This is also no one’s fault, but while we were there there were a group of adult girls constantly screaming and chasing eachother around, so I wouldn’t choose to go here for a relaxing spa experience. Breakfast was great with a huge selection of hot and cold food. The only downside was that we were told there was a half an hour wait on omelettes, again not the end of the world, but I thought if they’re so popular they could have a couple of people doing them rather than one. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed at Leonardo St Paul for 8 nights so we chose the hotel carefully and were very pleased! Pros: 1. STAFF The staff was friendly, helpful, very accomodating, knowledgeable, kind. Really made the stay very comfortable. Thanks Jessica! Only minor problem on their part was confusion about whether the room was ready at check-in. But they helped with so many requests/issues on my part over 8 days, that I forgive this minor glitch. 2. POOL An important criteria for me is getting to swim laps every day. Pool was wonderful. Good size. 18.5 m I think. About 82 degrees by my estimate. Excellent locker facilities. It was a bit difficult finding a swimming time that the pool was empty enough to swim laps, but it worked out most days. Evidently more difficult to find times in the summer when we were there because they do not restrict children hours while they are on holiday. Pool staff was wonder. Thanks Alicia. 3. EXECUTIVE LOUNGE It was so gracious to have the executive lounge available. There were beverages and small snacks all day. There was enough food in the morning for a light breakfast. At tea time there were more substantial savory snacks. The staff there could not have been kinder or more helpful. Special thanks to the gentleman from Ecuador (I forget his name). 4, LOCATION was perfect. Great neighborhood. Walk to many sights and easy tube ride to everything. 5. ROOM Our room was pretty, comfortable and ample size. We had an executive double I think. My impression is that there is a wide variation in room size and view. I would use the photos on TripAdvisor and verify your choice with a call or email DIRECTLY WITH HOTEL. But see below for commucation difficulties. CONS The cons were far outweighed by the PROS but I will list them in case they are helpful. I think they were really all problems associated with the hotel chain management and not the particular hotel. 1. WEBSITE ROOM DESCRIPTION Rooms were inadequately described on website. We booked a room with a view. There are in fact very few rooms in the hotel with an excellent view - as you think you would get my paying extra. We had a partial view of St Pauls if you sat in the corner and looked at an angle. I don't count this as an excellent view. I REALLY appreciated the fact that the manager, Jessica, did not try to argue with me on this. She showed me one of the few corner rooms which indeed had a fabulous view of St Pauls. The problem was that the room was much smaller. It is all a matter of priorities, but if the room options had been better described on-line, it would have eliminated this problem. I actually had tried to clarify this by calling the hotel before we arrived, but the phone tree system was impossible for me to navigate. Disconnected many times and finally gave up. The problem was not on me because I was able to call the SPA. The helpful staff did help me by email, but a quick conversation by phone would have been even more helpful. I blame the hotel chain. 2. DIFFICULT TO PHONE (See above) 3. CHILLER IN ROOM The chiller in the room which evidently had snacks in it took up a very large part of the closet and was useless to us. It would have been so much more helpful to have a fridge and/or microwave.

Hello andyj280 We're very grateful for your leaving a review and for choosing to stay with us. First and foremost, we are thrilled that our staff, especially Jessica and Alicia, left such a positive impression on your stay. Their friendliness, helpfulness, and dedication to ensuring your comfort are qualities we take pride in. We sincerely apologize for any confusion regarding your room readiness at check-in, and we are grateful for your understanding. We are delighted that you made the most of our wonderful pool facilities, even though it was sometimes challenging to find the ideal time for laps. We understand that pool occupancy can vary, especially during the summer season, and we appreciate your patience. It's great to hear that you found our locker facilities to be excellent. Our Executive Lounge is designed to provide added comfort and convenience to our guests, and we're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the beverages, snacks, and the service provided by our staff there, including the gentleman from Ecuador. Regarding the location, we are pleased that you found it convenient and that you could easily explore the neighbourhood and reach various attractions using the tube. We apologize for any shortcomings in the room description on our website. Your feedback is valuable, and we will work on improving the clarity of room descriptions to help future guests make more informed choices. We appreciate your understanding of the room size and view variation and the way our manager, Jessica, handled the situation. We are truly sorry for the difficulties you encountered when trying to contact us by phone. We will certainly review our phone tree system to ensure it provides a more seamless experience for our guests in the future. We would love to have you around again in the future when it suits you the most! Best regards, Manol Customer Experience Team.

Great hotel accommodations next door to St. Paul's. Overall really liked the property. Great gym. Very nice breakfast, and the executive lounge was nicely appointed. My only complaint was that this is obviously a hotel for a 1 or 2 day business traveler. I was here for a week and there are no dressers/drawers for clothes. So we never really got to unpack and had to keep most of our non-hanging items in our suitcases.

I came for a spa day and had the most amazing treatment with Nenita. It was pure bliss!! 100min body massage and facial. My skin was shiny and plump and i had a lot of good comments in the days after . Afternoon tea as part of the package was delicious, i felt so welcome and looked after by all staff in particular Agima the spa assistant manager!! She makes sure you have everything you need and makes you feel like a princess. I will definitely come back as its good value for money in the heart of London, super clean, warm pool, jaccuzzi, steam room and sauna. Spacious spa which is very rare in london! I highly recommend and plan to come back in May already!

Great hotel. Superb breakfast. I stayed on the executive floor and the lounge access was wonderful. Ahmed did my reservation in person when my trip details changed and I needed to stay in London longer than initially planned. He also called my room after I arrived to check that everything was okay. Shahedur helped me on numerous occasions. Very kind and professional! Would definitely visit again. Carol

Another wonderful stay at the Leonardo Royal London St Paul's. This is our fifth visit to the hotel. The location is amazing. It is so close to a number of transportation options, restaurants, pubs, and sights. We loved the fact that every time that we entered the hotel we had an opportunity to see St Paul's Cathedral close up. Amazing! The rooms are quiet and well-appointed. They are kept very clean by the wonderful housekeeping staff. All of the staff is remarkable. Abu helped us out by running out to get change from a cab driver so that we had pounds for tips. We really appreciated his cheerful assistance. Jehan helped us by providing an upgrade to an Executive room. This gave us access to the Executive Lounge which provided a place to relax and enjoy snacks and beverages throughout the day. We will definitely be back!

Came back to the Leonardo Royal St. Paul’s London (aka The Grange) for the first time in a few years and it was as good or better than I remembered. Grace was terrific in the Executive Lounge attending to everyone’s needs and the happy hour snacks were delicious. Make sure you get access to the lounge and include breakfast in your reservation.

So starting with the bad but believe me when I say there is more good than bad. Unfortunately the swimming/sauna facilities were out of service due to maintenance work..... not something that could have been helped, but disappointing all the same. And the restaurant wasn't great, with very slow service in a very quiet restaurant..... But now let me onto the good!! The hotel is absolutely stunning. Checking in was very quick and easy where we were greeted with a glass of prosecco. The hotel room was stunning, I had booked a birthday package and they certainly delivered.... The spa treatments which were massage's were fantastic and were extremely relaxing. The rooftop bar was stunning. With a fantastic view and even better service where they sold a fantastic selection of cocktails. Asides from the above issues. Which are minor compared to the overall experience. This was absolutely perfect. A special thank you to Anne, who decorated the room. Anna and Cara who gave us the massages. Annas for his fantastic service in the rooftop bar and poavy (apologises if spelt wrong, couldn't make out the spelling) for there services in making sure we had a fantastic time. Will certainly return. Because we were blown away!

Last week I visited leisure club Rena in Leonardo hotel at St Paul’s. A lady with a nice attitude called Agima was in reception. She was a cheerful and welcoming person. She showed me around club and let me to try the facilities for that day. The club was so clean and staff were very friendly. 2 days later, I became a member of that club. Thanks to Agima and all the staff. Zara

The room was over sprayed with some chemical perfume or whatever and the bathroom was probably having some syphon not working properly…air and rooms should be clean…full stop. I have been travelling all around the globe and never had to wake up several times in the night for the room bad smell like this time…terrible experience never again
