Stayed at this hotel after being advised by a friend who said if you want a really nice central hotel in London this is the one. Stayed 28th - 30th November for my husbands birthday which I had advised the hotel. Had a lovely room overlooking St Pauls, very quiet. Room was ready when we checked in at 2pm. After...

The hotel is is in a great location as per every other review.... St Pauls, Millenium Bridge, walking to city establishments, tube/bus to West End or Westfield/Canary Wharf. Hotel is nice (although expensive) one downside is the lack of mobile reception in the rooms. Would stay if on business and expenses (ie phone bills) no problem.

I set out on a 10 day trip from Canada to explore London, York and Glasgow/Edinburgh and I have to say that staying at the Grange Hotel was fantastic. I found a great deal online at about $200CDN/night for a room here. It's close to the St Pauls tube station, which was really handy, and being able to walk out...

This is a reasonable Hotel and given that we had a discounted rate I felt that it provided good value for money. + Great location, Polite and Friendly staff, good pool, comfortable beds and reasonably spacious rooms. Millennium bridge and ease of access to the South Bank. - Its a bit quite around the city after 9.PM Our room smelt...

we booked three rooms and found some good rates considering it was close to Christmas so price was fair . Now there has been some commentary about this being a five star hotel, this must mean there is some undermining of the standard measures. It is not what I would call a five star , but a reasonable four star....

...everything from the staff to service were nothing but flawless! I intend to stay at St Paul's Grange again it’s in town but not caught up in the hustle and bustle of the London rat race and very peaceful and relaxing exactly what you want after a busy day!, The staff were very helpful and friendly nothing negative to say...

Have stayed at this hotel on several occassions, the last being late November. What stands out: The hotel has a great location in the City opposite St Pauls and close to One New Change; The rooms are large by London standards and comfortable; The porters are fantastic! What needs improvement: The food in general could do with some improvement -...

Thank you for your comments. We are pleased you liked the hotel and had a good stay. We hope you will stay again on a future trip to England.

Location is fantastic right by St Pauls and the rooms are great but service and food are a long way short of five star - breakfast was crowded and very average as was the service. Overall this place is just too big and busy to give you a five star service - spend your money elsewhere unless you can get...

Choose this hotel based on its attractive website and supportive TA reviews. My impressions during my 2-nights stay in November were what you would call in diplomatic English "mixed" (ranging from performing to significantly underperforming). Performing: Check-in and check-out were good. The same applies to the bell boys, greeting and available to assist, as well as to the lobby bar:...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
