I have stayed at the Sheriff several times, both alone and with colleagues, when travelling for work. While rooms can be a bit small like any London hotel, the reason I keep going back is the quality of the bed, bedding and pillows. It is so important to get a good night's sleep and this place is hard to beat...

Great location. Friendly staff and very clean. Breakfast was very good for England. Rooms were very small but again very clean. I would come again. The tea was great in the room. Great location and very easy to find. We could walk to the Victoria station and to the Victoria Coach Station within ten minutes. I would stay here again.

Small rooms, but clean. Host was kind and helpful. Breakfast was ok, but we missed some yoghurt. If U just want a place to stay and sleep, this hotel is higly recommended, because everything is nearby, and in walking distance. 1,5 km to Buckingham Palace, 3 km to London Eye and Big Ben. We walked to everything. We were satisfied...

A short walk from Victoria station, and within walking distance of loads of attractions .This hotel was very clean especially the bath room plenty of towels and clean bed linen. The rooms are advertised as compact but werent as bad as expected. Breakfast was very good and we had no trouble getting a table, for a complimentary breakfast it exceeded...

My second visit - everything is great and the staff are most accommodating and professional! London is expensive - the hotel does it's best to provide for everything that is needed. Breakfast is filling; water pressure is great; adapters available in the room and the free smart phone is the BEST! Hope the hotel keeps it - it was wonderful...

Whenever I have an overnight stay in London I book into the Sheriff. Considerably cheaper than anywhere else I have found, virtually round the corner from Buckingham Palace and a short walk from Victoria Station, it's convenient for getting round London. The rooms are clean, the beds comfy, there's complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, bottled water, telly, Wi-Fi, smart phone, plenty...

Excellent place with all the comodities, good location for a good price. The location may not be very easy to find if you're still not used to the maps, but a smartphone's app will be more than enough.

Fantastic location, super central. Decent room if not a tad on the small side, bit tricky moving around the bed with two people. Nice and clean, everything you need. Id recommend it mainly because of the location, 5 minutes from Victoria Coach Station, 10min from the Tube.

A cozy hotel right beside Victoria Station so close to many attractions which you could easily reach by foot. We were coming to see les miserable so we're not in the room lots. We are very satisfied as after reading some reviews was a bit worried about coming. We stayed in a room 34 which was an ensuite room with...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
