They only serve indian food for breakfast lunch and supper. I suffered because i am lactose intolerant and have a sensitive stomach. They dont offer alternative diet or cook special meals for people with special dietary requirements. This was despite them charging for meals in...More
The best thing of Indian YMCA is its location. It is few minutes walk right across the Warren Street, a metro Tube station which is the centrally located area to take anyone at any place in Greater London through connecting underground tube network. It also...More
I've been vegetarian since 1967. I've read some very encouraging reviews of this student cafeteria. I first came to the student cafe in the 1970s and enjoyed it. I seem to remember the restaurant was in a different building to the concrete block you see...More

This sophisticated and sociable slice of Central London is a shopper’s paradise, offering the latest fashions, gadgets, and souvenirs. Fitzrovia is conveniently located between the major retail thoroughfares of Regent Street to the west and Tottenham Court Road to the east, with a handful of well connected Tube stations dotted around the area for easy transport. This neighbourhood is a favorite
among foodies as well, with an impressive number of quality restaurants, pubs, cafes and food shops vying for your patronage – especially along Charlotte Street and near Goodge Street Station.

Hi, The room in which we stayed had moulds in the corners of the shower cabin and soap holder. You would also need to tell the house keeping people to change your towels and only then they will do it. Also there is dust in the vents of the bathroom. Having said this, you may register a complaint with the reception and they may be able to help. In my case the light suddenly went off and they got it checked and got it back again.
My stay was only for 5 days, however I did notice a lot of students staying here and would believe they were staying for long.
Hope this helps.

The menu has a spread of Indian recipes including Breakfast ,Lunch and Dinner with vegetarian including rice, plain or vegetable rice, salads, pulses, pickles, Indian bread and desert. There is a non veg dish also with lunch and dinner (with curry ). Given for the price that is there in YMCA , it is a suitable, simple and healthy food menu.
