Booked for an evening kick off at Brentford to watch Manchester City. It's a stones throw from the ground so very convenient. Check in process etc all fine and can be done on line without fuss. Stayed in a large room with double bed and single bed. All facilities as you'd expect. Friendly staff. Breakfast was £12 each but it was good to be fair. Lots of choice. Room was quiet and bed comfy. Tube nearby if needed and a nice co-op down the road. Car parking (extra) is underground but secure which is the main thing. Would happily stay again which is all you can say.

Upon entry really nice feel and I was looking forward to the stay, everything seemed great..until I sat on the bed, realising it is two singles pushed together. If I wanted a single bed I would have booked a single room. When paying the price I have paid again a bit disgruntled as the week before looking it was half the price, supply and demand though I understand that being the weekend before Christmas. However I imagine like everyone they have had cancellations. I spoke to reception this morning just to let then know how my nights sleep went...woke up on multiple occasions trying to pull my way back out of the middle of the bed, to only find myself again waking up an hour later with the same issue. The bed itself is really comfy but the audacity to push two singles together I think is disgusting. When speaking to reception it was said they do this for flexibility... in case they need more twin beds I'm sorry but if you advertise a room as a certain thing that is what it should be. Anyhow with that being said they have other rooms available I am sure that don't have this issue, I would be more than happy to move to one of those however upon speaking to reception that wasn't offered. I was asked have I got a car in the car park, no so they can't refund me that, ahh I see you already have breakfast included sir, so we can't compensate you with that. I asked can you not refund down to the price of a twin since that is all the room is. Unfortunately because I booked through Expedia nothing can be done. I find that very hard for that to be the only answer with a hotel of this magnitude. I did mention about speaking to the manager of which reception said they would speak to me however I have heard nothing yet. So on the basis of my experience I wouldn't recommend, comfort Is a big thing for me and taking shortcuts is extremely frustrating. We were told to put our room maintenance sign out by 1pm also, we got back at 2pm and still nothing had been done. I would say save your pennies and the stress of a bad night sleep and look to go somewhere else. It's a shame as the hotel has lots of potential, I think there is this issues in the hospitality sector in general with a high turnover of staff and absent management leading the way. Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself.

Betty was so helpful and made me a repeat customer for sure! I was on the fence about booking, but when i called and spoke to the team her outstanding customer service made me go ahead with the booking. She was so polite and warm.

Hotel is nice, location good, beds comfy etc. The issue that I would like to make people aware of is that there was a lot of people around the breakfast buffet and hardly any of them were wearing masks! I waited a while to see if the situation got better but it didn’t and I decided I would grab a croissant and leave. The person at the main desk offered to bring a hot breakfast to my room but I had sort of lost interest by then (probably should have accepted this or got room service!). I had a chat on check out it seems that hotel doesn’t think masks are mandatory by the buffet as it’s classed as a restaurant (ie hospitality) and so not needed. I disagreed and thought the buffet was hotel area where masks should be mandated. I am not sure who is right! I certainly don’t think the staff should have to police this, but I think they need to think of trying ways to change behaviour. I would not go near the buffet again and some people may find it uncomfortable as I did. Maybe just a sign by the buffet, or ask people to remember this when they are seated. I asked to be excused paying for breakfast but they said this wasn’t possible due to the package I had bought. You may decide this is not an issue for you but I thought it would help future guests and maybe help the hotel think about this too as we continue with this pandemic.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our hotel. Masks are a requirement in hotel public areas excluding Bars and Restaurants. We do promote the wearing of masks in our bar and restaurant as a recommendation and signage is in place at the entry to these areas. Kind regards
