Wasn't sure about a Premier Inn but Lenny Henry always looks so happy ! Were given a jet boat trip on the Thames and a Marco-Pierre White dinner in the City Steak & Ale House for a wedding present so thought we'd see if Lenny knew what he was talking about. WOW. SO glad we took the chance. Fabulous helpful,...

I stayed at this hotel for one night (reservation for 4 nights) and moved to another hotel after that one night. I read every single review before I booked, and was sure I was selecting a budget-friendly, clean, safe, comfortable hotel in a great location. Some of those things were true. The two things I agree with other reviewers on--shower...

Stayed here for one night as attending a conference in America Square. Perfect location, just a few minutes walk from Tower Hill Tube Station and even nearer to the venue. Had a larger than average room with good sized bathroom, it was clean and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay here again

What else could we wish for when being nearby some of the hottest spots in London and near all kinds of public transportations for such a reasonable price. Worth the money. Staff members are awesome too.

We stayed here last weekend, and it's right next to the Tower of London and tower bridge pretty much! Our room was very spacious and we could see the tower and the shard from our room. Decent price and also really comfy bed! Perfect for a cheap place to stay in London :)

Very clean. Very welcoming, helpful. We had a room on the back and although there was "nothing to see" it didn't matter, for us it was nearly a base from which to go off and explore. A mere 5 min walk from the Tower of London and the tube an excellent place to stay. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was excellent in every way, the staff are superb and the room was large, quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was also really good. We couldn't fault it in any way and would recommend it highly!

Stayed in the premier inn tower hill three times now. This is a great location, close to the tube station, easy bus service into central London and places to eat for good value for money. Next to Tower of London so a good place to visit. Would return again.

Ideal location in city centre. We took advantage of a special offer so price was very good. Room was compact but comfortable - although 2 chairs rather than 1 would have been better in a double room. Restaurant was excellent - really good food, and the meal deal was very good value

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
