Easy online check in made collecting the keys very simple. Staff wee extremely friendly and we cannot complain at all. Breakfast was great and cheaper if bought online in advance. An excellent night's sleep.

Clean beds, bathrooms, no shampoo/conditioner, very firm beds, safes were down, has free half hour wifi, 3 pound per 24hrs after this. Good well priced pub on same block for breakfast/dinners. 15 walk to underground, 10 minutes to bus that we needed. Safe area. Good breakfast for those with several kids. I'd stay there again. The room price fluctuates depending...

You get exactly what you pay for in relation to the type of hotel it is, however if you have a problem don't expect the staff to be interested in helping you or putting it right, if they improved the attitude of the staff it would be a good place to stay

I love the Premier chain but this is not my favourite. It's not in a particularly great street or area and many of the public areas of the hotel are tired and worn. There was an abandoned suitcase on one floor for two days! A drink left unclaimed in a hallway. Our room was a reasonable size but the window...

The Premier Inn is a nice, cheap and good hotel situated in the east of London. It has good access to London City Airport. You get to the metro station and to the Tower of London within few minutes on foot. It is also close to a stop of the Hop-on-Buses. The hotel room was quite spacious. I liked the...

It's a budget hotel, let's not forget. BUT the beds are comfy, the staff here are lovely, the breakfast is freshly cooked (the eggs were a bit rubbery though - points off food for that) and all in all is a very calming experience. I have to commend the management on the staff - for normally rude or indifferent London...

Quite confortable and spacious room (408) with excellent hot shower. By contrast breakfast disorganised with long queues to access the restaurant and many uncleared tables. Having gained a table there was no queueing for food but a short wait for cutlery. I'd be tempted to visit Wetherspoons (opposite) for breakfast next time!

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
