I booked an apartment through a 3rd party website however 2 hours later I realised that I had selected the incorrect date. Upon contacting the apartment reservation line I was advised that there was no way the booking could be cancelled. Also the main image that appears on most of the pictures for the apartments showing the open space and...

We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom apartment in November last year just for one night but we all wished it was for longer. The apartment was lovely styled, clean and with everything we needed and more. The area has lots of great pubs and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at these apartments for 5 nights over Christmas while working for 'Crisis at Christmas' in Bermondsey. It seems from the other reviews that the apartments vary according to which one you are allocated. We had apartment 68A and it was excellent. It was warm, quiet and had a great view of The Shard. The apartment was very well...

Visiting London for 4 days we chose to book online and stay here. We arrived, just a short distance from the tube, reception was hard to find as there's no signs at all however the booking in process was easy and we received a free upgrade which was nice. The apartments are located very close to tower bridge, London Bridge...

Arrived in a reception area wasn't sure if it was the right place no signs up! Check in was a pleasure. Location is very close to London Bridge station and Tower Bridge unfortunately too close very noisey with the road traffic on Tower Bridge Road and trains passing by every minute into London Bridge station. I stayed in a one...

Great location close to London Bridge, Tower Bridge and Shad Thames; a pleasant change after previously staying in places "closer to the action". Very good staff (friendly and accommodating; allowed friends to leave luggage with us in left luggage). Our apartment was small but perfectly adequate. Comfortable accommodation with basic facilities you'd expect and need. Also a wonderful view over...

We booked this place as my girlfriend and I were staying in London for the weekend. A short 10 minute walk from London Bridge tube station, we arrived to find out on check out they had upgraded us to a 2 bedroomed apartment with a view of The Shard. The apartments are massive and so equipped with everything you need....

Very convenient location, great neighborhood, and VERY nice appartment. Mine was on a roof, with a view to the Shard and up to the London Eye. Spacious and very cosy, it made me feel at home. I will definitely come back.

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
