Nice neighbourhood with good transport connections everywhere. Helpful people and good services nearby. If you prefer to wander around the city and see the sights instead of spending time in your room, this hotel can be recommended. Although the room was not that good, there were nice guests and no noise at night. Have a good trip!

I went for a night out with friends and we needed somewhere to stay. If you want somewere that has a bed, heating and hot water. Then this is the place. I will definitely stay here again when I go to London.

If you think this budget "hotel" will be ok just to put your head down for the night, think again. The rooms are directly above the tube lines which run for most of the night. The room was small and the bathroom was tiny, our toilet wasn't attached to the floor and moved. The mod cons consisted of a tv...

Place was disgusting and filthy, i went knowing it was a no thrills hotel but i expected things to be clean and bed linen to be clean. Slept in clothes and on top of towels. Left as soon as possible. All areas were dirty, stairwell, bathroom, room, linen and carpets. We did not have breakfast as did not dare to....

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
