The Radisson Blu Hotel, London Canary Wharf East is often celebrated for its spotless rooms and meticulous attention to cleanliness. While its location earns praise for being close to the O2 and various dining options, some guests feel it's a bit too far from public transport and central Canary Wharf.

Detailed Reviews
We were warmly welcomed the moment we walked in by the Concierge guy, all the staff were friendly and professional and seemed genuinely happy to fulfil any request.
We stayed in a one bedroom suite and it was spotless nothing dirty noting out of place nothing stained, cleanest hotel i have ever stayed in.
The in room breakfast request card did not have enough selections like other Hotels have so you could not choose individual items, so risked getting things you did not want or not cooked the way you like or not meeting dietary requirements so we had to skip this.
The location lets this Hotel down its on the water front like many others i have stayed at in the area are, but you can not walk along the river more than a few meters before the path comes to an end here that was very disappointing.
Now i think the following is probably the chains policy and not the fault of this hotel (it is the reason i have given 4 starts and not 5) they have the standard save the planet by reusing towels sign and also claim they will donate £1.50 to charity if you don't have the room cleaned to also save the planet. but i rather think this is more to save them money that the planet, because they wrap every glass and cup in single use plastic, they leave water in the room in plastic bottles, those tiny bottles of shampoo etc and they have cotton buds in the bathroom made out of plastic. If they want to save the planet they should be giving shampoo and shower gel in bars away no need for bottles at all then.
the restaurant here is not good but that i have reviewed separately.

Having such a poor experience at another Radisson Blu Hotel which we reviewed, we felt it only fair to leave praise for our recent stay.
This was our first stay here and wasn’t disappointed by anything, only pleasantly surprised.
On arrival we were upgraded to a Premier room by a very courteous gentleman on reception, the room was beautiful and cleaned to a great standard.
The facilities the room had to offer were more than adequate, exceeding our expectations. My husband and I enjoyed a peaceful, comfortable nights sleep.
We had booked for breakfast, again a first class experience. Suffering from coeliac disease a good gluten free breakfast can often prove a challenge but not here, staff were well informed and were more than willing to go the extra mile to ensure customers enjoyed their visit to the breakfast room.
We would love to revisit the Radisson Blu Edwardian New Providence Canary Wharf and it’s fantastic staff..... an absolute credit to the group.

Went to this lovely hotel to stay for Valentine’s Day, asked for rose pedals to be laid out in the room for a fee of £5.00. They romantically set that up well. I ordered via moonpig for card and flowers to be sent to the hotel and only received the flowers still awaiting from news from the hotel regarding the missing card. They placed the flowers in a vase which was nice of them but that made it hard for my partner to take them home but not a big issue.
But great service from concierge forgot the gentlemen name that checked me in there as reception was busy. Housekeeping was perfect aswell, left my toothbrush and toothpaste at home and they brought me up some within five minutes I’d calling them. Room was spacious with a nice amount of towels, shower gels and shampoo.
Hotel is close to BlackWell DLR station and close to major A Roads which is useful.
I’d definitely stay here again.

The check-in experience yesterday was very good and was as expected.
However, I noticed that there there was no hand soap in the restroom and reported this to reception in person as I was heading out to an event at the ExCel; this was nothing to complain about as this was a trivial matter.
When I returned, I found a note from the head housekeeper insinuating that I moved all the soap/shampoo (I didn't even notice that the shampoo was missing) and that I was going to be charged £144. Why would I report this if I was going to take the soap?
Furthermore, the note was deeply offensive and hurtful; I was ready to check-out straight away as I didn't want to stay in a place where blame is the culture!
After calming down, I went back down to reception and spoke with Simeon (apologies if the name is spelled wrong) who agreed with me that leaving the note was wrong and will speak to housekeeping.
He got housekeeping to place the missing soap in the restroom who also said that I couldn't have removed the soap as the dispensers are fixed in place and would have maintenance look into it following day.
I was much better after having breakfast the following day and would like to forget this negative experience I had the previous day.
In future, I will get reception to inspect the room with me upon check-in.

Booked this hotel at a very reasonable price for a Saturday night stay as part of my wife's birthday celebrations. We had tickets to an O2 show. From the front of the hotel you can see straight across the Thames to the O2 & it was only a couple of stops away on the DLR & underground. Hotel room was large with an impressive luxury bathroom with both bath & walk-in shower. Staff were very friendly on arrival & used valet parking for car, which seemed really reasonably priced. Fantastic personal touch as they left a bottle of prosecco & a cake in our room for when we returned from the show to help celebrate my wife's birthday. Would definitely stay again

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the O2 and paid for an upgrade to a one bedroom suite on the top floor, which was worth the extra expense. The suite has a comfortable sitting room with flat-screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities, table/chairs. The bedroom has a large and comfortable double bed and the ensuite bathroom has a large bath and walk-in rain shower. The hotel was immaculately clean throughout and all staff that we encountered were very friendly and polite. A special mention must be given to Matthew at Reception who provided excellent customer service with a smile. He responded quickly and effectively to our various requests and nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel is beside the river and its views across to the O2 arena can be enjoyed from the restaurant that has large glass windows. We enjoyed an excellent fish and chips dinner there. Canary Wharf is a 20-minute walk away and the O2 can be reached by taxi in approx. 15 minutes but only outside of commuting hours. London City Airport is also about 15 minutes by car (on a good run). If you are attending a concert at the O2 try to organize your return travel in advance as the queue for taxis and the Underground were huge after the concert we attended. After waiting 20+ minutes in a very long taxi queue, we decided to take the Underground from the O2 to Canary Wharf (1 stop) and then we easily got a taxi to the hotel (5 mins).
I can definitely recommend this hotel for stays in east London and proximity to London City Airport & the O2.

Checked out Saturday morning after what I think was my best hotel stay ever!
We felt Looked after from the moment I booked to when we checked out.
Booked during COVID, in September 2021 as we had booked tickets for John Bishop at the O2. Still so many unknowns as to whether it would still go ahead, but immediately after booking the hotel messaged to 'introduce' themselves, inviting us to inform them of any special requests, occasions, or reasons for the stay.
Our stay date finally arrived. Unsure which tube station was the easiest, we opted to try Blackwall on our way there, but after finding East India later in the day, I'd say that one is easier to navigate from if you're an amateur of London and navigation isn't your forte. One straight road rather than trying to navigate under subways and turns.
On check in, the details were quickly accessed, with the lovely check in staff greeting us with a 'happy anniversary'. Our room was upgraded to a superior room, and superior it was! I wasn't sure we'd be fortunate enough to get a room with a view, but despite the neighbouring building still being built, we had an amazing view from the 6th floor across the Thames right over to the O2!
The room had a shower and bath, and ample of space; I'd say it was a dream bathroom!
The bedroom had been set up with a 'happy anniversary' helium balloon, which unfortunately we did have to leave behind having got there by tube, and towel swans with rose petals; these gestures made our stay feel so special, and was a lovely touch!
Reception staff recommended options for getting to the 02, and although we had considered the cable carts, we weren't sure how we'd do for time so opted instead just for the tube / DLR.
There were Plenty of toiletries available en mass, along with shower caps, and we even had robes and slippers available for our use.
Room was temperature controlled with air con available.
The decor throughout was impressive. Such a clean, warm feel to it and all staff encountered were more than polite and helpful.
The bed was very comfy, and huge in size!
We pre booked breakfast at £16.50, otherwise it was £22 on the day. This too was excellent value. Options included pastries, buffet style Hot breakfast, toast, juices, or there was an a la carte option too if you preferred. Also a good selection of hot drinks were available for table service.
Overall, I found no faults throughout this stay and will definitely be returning. Thank you to all staff we encountered; you made our stay so special.

As soon as you walk in through the doors there’s this lovely whiff of lavender which basically welcomes you. The hotel was squeaky clean and staff were really friendly. Diana the receptionist was really welcoming and swiftly got the check in process sorted and even suggested places to visit and dine etc. Housekeeping on floor 7 was a lovely Nepali lady who even came and asked if I needed anything for my stay. Loved it.
Definitely will be back and would recommend to all.

Me and my partner stayed a night for his birthday, the room was amazing they left him a birthday surprise which i appreciated, it was all fine and dandy till the next day when we woke up to have breakfast and use the spa facilities. I and my my partner are both Afro-Caribbean, we approached the breakfast table where we met by and Afro-Caribbean lady who was rather rude to us both, asked if we are staying in the hotel, when we responded she gave a look of surprise as if she was shocked that we could afford it, then she left and came back and asked for the name it is booked under, i gave her my name she left, then came back again and asked for the room number in such a rude manner, this was rather poor customer service. It did not end their, we decided to eat in our room due to the rudeness of this particular staff. When had finished we headed to use the Spa facilities, upon arrival their was 2 ladies at the front desk, one was the receptionist, the second a domestic staff, the front desk receptionist greeted us well, asked for our room number which we gave and she showed us around. When me and my partner came out of the dressing room the Afro-Caribbean domestic staff approached and informed us that we can only use the facilities if we are staying in the hotel, we found this very offensive because we had come in with our room key and also gave our room number to the receptionist so found her approach unnecessary and rather rude.

We as a hotel do value both, positive and negative feedback and I would like to thank you for sharing yours. Overall it is a excellent, professional and clean hotel if you have a car. Since it is quite remote from public transportation (tucked in high end residential area), it is safe and quiet. For the price charged, breakfast should be included, and shuttle to Underground stations should be more accommodating. Pillow is puffy but not firm, compared to my previous Hyatt and Hilton stays.

Yes, very easy. It's a short flat walk to the tube station which drops to right at the O2 - about 20 minutes journey in total we found. We did take an Uber there which was about £12 but it was quicker by tube we found on the way back so probably depends on the traffic.
Our room had a fridge but no bath which we preferred as it had a lovely walk-in shower and ample counter space.
No it’s a cab ride across the river
