Do not book this hotel. We booked to stay here because it's cheap and conveniently located right next to London Paddington. I was concerned we'd have trouble checking in as we were arriving after midnight. However, the website stated that the reception desk was 24 hours and I called ahead of booking to confirm this. We also called ahead of...

Positives - Excellent location right in Paddington, about a minutes walk from the tube station. Plenty of food, pubs, shops and convenience stores nearby or right down below. Short walk 5-10 minutes to Hyde park, good location for tube to Oxford St, in zone 1. The staff are friendly. But the price for central London really does reflect what you...

The only positive thing about this hotel is the staff. Both front desk guys were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a disaster. "Air conditioning" is a small fan in the one outlet in your room. There is no lift and just getting up the stairs to the front desk is long and steep 25-30 stairs. Then, the rooms...

Honestly, I've stayed in nicer hostels, but you get what you pay for. In this case, what you're paying for is a {lumpy} bed, {spotty} wifi, a {shared} hot shower, and a {pretty dingy} place to put your stuff in a PRIME location. The hotel is literally across the street from Paddington Station, with easy access to Notting Hill, Hyde...

On arrival the first thing that hits you is the smell of something stale. The carpets probably need a clean. Checked in and was given 1 key card. Off up 4 flights of stairs someone previously said 88 all together very unsteady handrails. Opened the door of room 11 to find a double bed and fridge just enough room to...

We booked this hotel last minute for our trip to London it was a reasonable price for being last minute. The hotel location is quite good as it's just down from Paddington station. The hotel room was very basic and only had the essentials you need but was fine for the price.

When we arrived at the hotel we were assigned a room on the top floor, which is 88 steps up a wobbly, unstable staircase which seemed like it was going to collapse under the weight of the suitcases and trolleys we were carrying. But with a break halfway due to the many steps we unlocked the door with the one...

At an excellent location a few steps away from Paddington train station, my single room was of a good level for hostel standards. Shared facilities were clean and in good state and I enjoyed free wifi access and continental breakfast served to my room; this latter was more of a set of packaged snacks than a proper meal, but there...
