This hotel is perfectly located, within walking distance of many attractions. I found the staff at the front desk amazingly helpful, going above and beyond my expectations. On our morning of departure, we had problems booking our train to Paris, Ophelie and Carlos provided excellent advice and helped me through the booking (using their IPAD), and printed our tickets for...

Great hotel in great location. Ticked all the boxes for a quick shopping and show trip to London with my teenage daughter. Will definitely stay again. Location was great very near embankment tube station and only 3 stops to Victoria station for Gatwick express.

Whenever I travel to London, the Grand at Trafalgar is my first choice for a beautiful and AFFORDABLE hotel in a fabulous location. Just a block from Trafalgar Square and the Charring Cross station, the hotel has modern and nicely furnished rooms and is very quite (despite being in the center to everything). It is a full service hotel with...

Terrible shoddy hotel. Moldy smell. Heat not working. No room service on site. No robe no slippers. Dirty carpet. Light not working. Iron broken. Etc. Terrible unkempt. For this price, I expected more.

The location of this hotel is really top notch. Literally a five minute walk from the Embankment stop on the tube. I only spent a weekend here, but would gladly stay longer. My room (201) was large, with a high ceiling. The restroom and shower were located in a little cabin like space in the corner, but were still of...

Myself and my daughter stayed overnight in a club room, 402. The room was spacious and clean with tea / coffee facilities. The bed was huge and so comfortable and all in it was a great hotel choice. The bathroom was a good size compared to some hotels we have stayed in and it was clean. The food in Bianco's...

The hotel was very quaint and staff were friendly. The room was very clean and cozy. The bed was supposed to be a Queen bed but it felt a little smaller than we are used to. The location was very central and allowed us to be able to walk almost everywhere.

The entrance hall is definetely grand; so much so that you suspect that you've come to a wrong place. This couldn't be the moderately priced accommodation I'd booked. However, the the check-in was soon done, the room ready (at 10 am) and even our request of suitable beds dealt with. I was slightly worried about the extra 60 pounds that...

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
