Stayed for one night to celebrate my husbands birthday. We were in room 3, with a four poster bed. This room has lovely views over the gardens and fields beyond. There is a open log fire as you enter the hotel, a lovely warm greeting. We found all the staff to be very friendly and efficient. We had dinner included...

We stayed overnight on a visit to the Yorkshire Dales in April. The Manor is within easy walking distance of Settle railway station and town centre. The real fires and burning candles in Reception and Lounge made a real impression when we arrived. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Our room on the first floor was quiet and pleasant. Bed very...

Beautiful hotel and surroundings, ,beautiful fires burning to keep the large building warm, I liked the dining room, the marvelous feather lighting was mesmerising ! I had pigeon for starters and it was slightly overcooked but still very tasty. I had lamb and my partner had beef for main course , both were excellent. The vegetables were cooked to perfection,...

First of all I have to say that its a lovely place. But they might do well to get a new chef. The food is at best average. I had beef. Luke warm, tough as a boot and raw in the middle. The vegetables reminded me of school dinners. Watery overcooked broccoli, dry mash, soggy limp carrots all topped of...

Unless you are interested in booking a wedding I wouldn't bother trying Falcon Manor, you'll be treated like a second class citizen. We travelled for nearly an hour to try certain dishes on the menu, when we arrived we were handed a menu with 4 or 5 choices. When I asked if there was any further choice I was handed...

Having stayed here for two nights in February I still cannot reconcile the lovely building and renovation with the dining experience. The bedrooms were clean and spacious with large wall mounted TV's and high class furnishings. I had a four poster room with a view of the countryside and a decent bathroom. The entrance hall is impressive with that rarity...

Stayed here for one night for a little mini break. The hotel is very comfortable. The rooms are clean and beds very comfortable. We had dinner on the evening and chose the 3 course special menu. The cider infused belly pork was wonderful. The chef needs a pay rise for the excellent dishes he served. The hotel is only a...

Wow-beautiful setting, amazing building, luxury rooms, tastefully/country with a slight modern twist decorated, your real fire places are so welcoming, loved every moment! Recently stayed while celebrating our friends wedding, the staff are attentive, polite and friendly. The bed was so comfy, great for relaxing after heaps of alcohol and dancing the night away! The food was just delicious, your...
