Wonderful warm welcome with an absolutely cracking full English breakfast! We stayed in the Black Sheep room on the ground floor which was lovely, clean and comfortable and come with an ensuite wet room.

I stayed 2 nights at the King William whilst house hunting in Settle. The owners, Jackie and Chris, were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. My room and en-suite bathroom were spacious and had all the facilities I needed, including a most comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Jackie and Chris both stopped for a chat while serving, which was...

After a “3 peaks” stay last time, we had a more leisurely overnight trip this time. “Fuggles” is a fantastic room . Jackie & Chris were friendly and very helpful - just like last time. It’s worth a visit just for the breakfast :) We are planning to return again later in the year for another 3 peaks adventure. Generally,...

WOW we are honoured to read such kind words, we are so pleased you loved the Fuggles room for your stay this time. Love the humour for the last sentence - we will let you back to stay again for another 3 peaks adventure- Thanks again for writing another very complimentary review even 4 years or so apart!

We stayed in the luxurious 'Fuggles'. A wonderful loft space to relax in after a days walking with a fabulous double Jacuzzi bath to unwind in. The bed is very comfy. Jackie and Chris are, as always excellent hosts who are there for you if you need anything. Breakfast is always something to look forward to. We love this place...

Stopped here for 2 nights so we could go trekking over Pen-Y-Ghent. What a great find this was, from the moment we checked in to check out Chris couldn't have been any friendlier, from recommending places to dine in the evening to helping us plan for our big day trekking. The rooms were spotlessly clean with lovely comfortable beds. I...

I stayed here for one night while attending a concert at the Victoria Theatre. I received a warm welcome from Chris and my top-floor room was quiet, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The location is handy for all amenities in Settle, which is very compact.

Another lovely stay at the King William. We stayed in the Golden Pippin room. Lovely and comfortable with fabulous Jacuzzi bath. As always, we were made so welcome and our bikes safely stored away. Delicious, freshly cooked breakfast and service that is second to none. Great location with plenty to do and see. Handy for a good pub meal at...

We stayed here this weekend as our two friends were getting married in a large hotel nearby. Our room was immaculate; we stayed in the Fuggles room which is on the top floor of the Guest House. It has a double jacuzzi, walk in shower, sofa, double bed and large television - absolutely fantastic! The service was great and the...

We stayed here for one night whilst attending a friends wedding. Our room was on the ground floor, the double bed was extremely comfy, and the walk in shower/wet room was brilliant. The room was a decent size and very tastefully decorated with tea/coffee making facilities. The hosts were extremely welcoming and very helpful, we both had a full Yorkshire...

Spent a couple of nights at the King William the Fourth in early November whilst walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. Compared with the hotel that our friends stayed at (sounded like Fawlty Towers) the King William was extremely comfortable, with a cooked to order breakfast at a time that suited us, great hosts, good location and it was cheaper, what's...
