We went for Sunday lunch after a relative recommended it. I hadn't been to this quaint old hall for many years but it was lovely to visit again. The meal was lovely - £25 for two people for a 3 course meal. It was beautifully presented, by friendly staff and was delicious and really good value. A sedate and pleasant...

Everything about this hotel is brilliant. The location is great, really peaceful and quiet, lots of countryside, not too far from whitby. The hotel building is lovely and old fashioned, beautiful huge room with medieval style windows and a four poster bed. Food was amazing and exceptional value. Would highly recommend staying for dinner. Nice sun terrace to sit outside...

I booked this hotel as it was near to Whitby and wanted to spend a short time there on our way to Northumberland. As I write this I am in bed having enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant and looking forward to the highly recommended breakfast in the morning. My only complaint is that the duvet is too small...

Lovely old hall with a large terrace and gardens, a library with a stunning stained glass window and ingle nook fireplace to toast your toes. Dunsley Hall is about 3 miles from Whitby, well within walking distance or a short drive into the quirky town inhabiting goths and Steam punks.. Very clean and comfortable with staff eager to make everyone...

Dunsley Hall is off the beaten track near Sandsend. Our room on the ground floor overlooking the garden was spacious to say the least. The restaurant menu although limited was excellent as was the breakfast next morning. Will definitely visit again.

Just had a 2 day stay at this hotel on a special mid week deal. It was excellent value for money with an excellent and comprehensive menu. The room was good but not for the fragile as it was at the top of two flights of steep steps. The room was also poorly lit that we found it difficult to see...

Good stay, Only knocked one point off because the restaurant closed a bit early for us. The service was excellent and the room was spacious. We received fantastic service from Gemma in particular, she is a credit to your organisation. A bit dusty in places and the noise from the pipes drove us a bit mad- Plus I could hear...

This was our fourth visit to the hotel. I guess you could say we really really like it! This visit was with friends, the occasion being one of our friend's birthday. As ever, when you recommend somewhere to other people you are a bit anxious about whether they will like it as much as you. Well, they loved it just...

We stayed overnight ahead of a family party and had a very comfortable room and breakfast. Our shower was very space age but not practical as there was nowhere to place shower gel etc!! The family party was excellent and the organisation, accommodation and catering was faultless.
