On street parking using the card the hotel gives you. This allows you to park in most of Whitby. It's only 10 minute walk from the town centre. Very nice selection for breakfast and very clean room. Large on suite bathroom with shower. Clean large towels.

I stayed at Grantley House in Whitby for the 2016 Goth Weekend, after getting a last minuet deal. To be honest, I didn't expect much from the B&B, after getting the room for only £90 (prices for B&Bs usually skyrocket when it is the Goth Weekend). So I was very surprised with this B&B. It is in the town center,... More

On one of the 'guest house' streets. Has free wi fi, remembers to provide parking permit, doors controlled on one fob makes entry to house and room easy. We had a monochrome room with every facility - kettle and hairdryer provided plus radio alarm as well as the flat screen TV that we did not test. Good choice of breakfast... More

We stayed at this B&B about a year or so ago and as regular visitors to Whitby was pleased when we managed to get in here again. However we was very disappointed with the service. Warm, clean comfortable room with a good tv with a strong signal and the WIFI signal was excellent throughout the hotel. The hotel is a 5 min walk from the main area of Whitby so is ideally situated. The breakfast was excellent as well. Would recommend.

After reading lots of negative reviews we arrived at Grantley feeling quite nervous. Very pleasantly surprised. All staff extremely welcoming and friendly, room newly decorated, clean and comfortable, lovely newly refurbished bathroom. Breakfast tasty and good quality (butchers standard of sausage/bacon). All in all a very pleasant stay - thank you. Sally and Graham, Room 1.

My husband and I booked Grantley for a two day stay. Owners friendly and helpful, room comfortable and clean. The breakfast menu is great as there are a variety of foods to choose from, yoghurt with fresh fruit, cereals or a fully cooked breakfast. Enjoyed our stay!
