We were in room 8 which was at the top of the house, overlooking the main road. The room was not the biggest in the house but was roomy enough for us. The en suite was small but adequate. There was some noise from the traffic if we had the window open but this was not a big problem. That's...

Recently got back from a 3 night stay at Elford Guest House. It is a really nice b & b which was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. It is situated at the top of a rather steep hill. It is though, a very pleasant 10 minute walk down into the town . Coming back up is rather more...

We really enjoyed our stay at this very pleasant guest house in Whitby. Room 5 was very large, had a comfortable bed, and there was very little road noise so we had a good night’s sleep each night. We were able to relax and eat breakfast in our room which was great. With a good selection of cereals, boiled eggs,...

Stayed here for five nights at end of July. Room immaculate and I've got ocd! Lovely view of abbey from window watching lovely sunsets. Continental breakfast was lovely and fresh with more than enough to set you up for the day. A nice tasty alternative to the usual full English. Owners were lovely and friendly. W definitely book here again...

Jeanne and I stayed here for 5 days in July 2016 in room 3 so next to the major road but frankly did not hear traffic due to the well glazed windows. Good off road parking and free Wi-Fi add to the value. All rooms are themed and number 3 is pink but a large room with a settee so...

We were lucky enough to stumble on this beautiful guest house at the last minute. We were supporting friends who were doing a "coast to coast" bike ride from Seascale to Whitby in a day!. We stayed in Room 8, which was lovely. Linda left the keys in a safe place for us as we were not due to arrive...
