I came here for the week of 26th September to 3rd October for a holiday, really enjoyed it and would come back again, the hotel was in the perfect location for for getting to all the main attractions of York and will certainly be back again as there's so much more I would like to do.
We know that a Premier Inn will give us a comfortable bed, a clean room and curtains that block light when we sleep, all at a reasonable price. Fed up of booking other hotels and finding that the bed is too soft for a good night's sleep, or that the light from the windows disturbs our sleep. The only small issue was that the windows did not completely block out noise from outside, but it was manageable. The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within easy reach of York's attractions, and very close to a good cinema for evening entertainment.
Hello everybody! I stayed here for a few days, the hotel is located very close to the train station and the city center, the rooms are very clean and quite spacious, the breakfast is very grainy and a varied menu of products, always very hot and the buffet is always full. I found out that the chef's name is Chriss right from him when he brought a perfectly cooked porridge to my table. Thanks for everything and keep it up!!!!
Arrived at about 11:30 in the afternoon. Left the following at 12:30 and was charged for 2 nights. Not sure how that works. And that is with the Premier Inn discount. I feel like I've been mugged. Won't be staying there again.
Cannot fault the hotel. Just a 3 minute walk from the station & a 10 minute walk to city centre. Everybody at the hotel were polite & no problem was too much if you had any issues. Due to the hotel being at outer limits of the city it was quite
Had a few days away in York and stayed at the premier inn blossom hill south . Rooms where clean and tidy ,comfortable bed and a good nights sleep . Had an issue with our shower it leaked all over the bathroom ,went to reception and was told if they couldn’t fix it they would move us to another room ,we was out all day on our arrival back told it was all sorted . Got to our room a note was left by Jackie on reception with a box of chocolates for the inconvenience ,thought that was a lovely gesture . We will not hesitate to stay here again as we have in the past . Breakfast was good with plenty of choice .
Premier Inn beds are so good you can't fail to have a good night's sleep. Blossom Street South in York is within walking distance of York City Centre and all the facilities on offer there, with quiet comfortable rooms at a reasonable price!
4 days in a Plus room with walk in shower and pod coffee machine. Staff were very helpful; room was v comfortable and bed was excellent. Didn't plan to use restaurant but did one evening. Food was very decent pub grub, piping hot and not expensive. Dropped into bar a couple of times before bed and nice atmosphere.
It was nice and warm. I liked it so much, the room especially. There was tea and coffee there so I didn’t have to go to another place to buy anything. That was nice. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. Overall I liked it.
Hello, I've had a wonderful time at the premier inn hotel with my mother and sister; we are tourists and we booked a 3 day stay at premier inn as we all agreed on the fact that the rooms looked comfortable. On the first morning after our first night, we endulged in the appetising breakfast that was displayed on the bufet. It was a first come, first served type of breakfast, which we simply adore the idea of. What we ordered was given by the Chef, that's when I found out his name is Chris and he has been working for this company for the past 5 years. I and my sister ordered 3 boiled eggs and my mum ordered a vegetarian sausage. And I'm not exagerating when I say the food was GREAT! This wonderful experience had repeated itself for the next 2 days and we are looking forward to be coming back to York.Keep it up!…
