We would recommend this hotel to everyone who ever wants to visit York. You could not find a more perfect hotel. Our room was amazing, the staff were all very friendly polite and professional. The hotel is halfway through a lovely refurbishment and we were lucky to have the four poster bedroom which was one of the completed rooms. Lovely...

Only stayed here for one night, but very impressed. I requested a ground floor room in advance and was pleased to see that the hotel had arranged for us to get a room on the ground floor annex. The rooms were comforatable and spotlessly clean. My only gripe would be that the wifi didn't work in the annex room where...

I was very fortunate to find this Wonderful, friendly and tidy hotel in the centre of York. I spent many nights here over the last 12 months. The rooms and en suites are exceptional. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you to ensure your stay is comfortable, enjoyable and trouble free. I would highly recommend his...

What a hotel. Staff were amazing. Emma on reception could not do enough for us. The room was beautiful, the ease of access to York centre was unexpected, it is literally round the corner. The breakfast was wonderful and the price was equally brilliant. Thank you to all at York Minster..😊

We usually stay the other end of York when we visit but this hotel was an excellent find. Roomy car park and a couple of minutes from the Minster! We stayed in Room 4 on the first floor (no lifts) which was very roomy and comfortable with a 4 poster bed.Although the room was quite large the radiator heating was...

Seven people from our family stayed here over the weekend and we enjoyed our stay very much. One of our party is disabled and finds it difficult to walk and breathe. However there was space for wheelchairs and a scooter -which we brought with us - and oxygen equipment was delivered and brought to the room. We had asked for...

Stayed here for one night with my partner but won't be staying again anytime soon. Hotel parking is a big plus also there was no rush to leave the car park even after check out. The floorboards are creaky everywhere, could hear the rooms above as well as our room. We stayed in room number one and the toilet was...

Thank you for taking the time to review the Minster Hotel following your recent visit, my sincerest apologies that you were disappointed, I have seen the photo's and checked the room myself and there is no excuse for the standards of cleanliness. The matter has been rectified, but should not have been allowed to happen, I can assure you that...

Second stay at the city centre hotel. Its position is perfect, next to the Register Office and maybe 100 yards from the City Art Gallery. It offers free parking, which is a significant bonus in this city that is almost as anti-car as Oxford. The hotel itself was originally a large Victorian house on 3 or 4 floors, and it...

Spent 3 nights at the hotel. Very friendly staff, Stuart really stood out at breakfast. Possibly one of the most polite men we've ever come across! Will have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and family.
