It was our third visit and it was perfect as before. Tony and Diana are wonderful hosts and they are constantly updating rooms and making the Tower Guest House even more special. We have booked again for next year.

This was our 2nd time staying here. The first time we stayed in the Tower Room which was excellent, this time we stayed in the beautifully furnished room 1 The Golden Versailles King on the ground floor. All rooms have air conditioning and contain everything you could want including a shoe horn and an umbrella. Tony and Diane are welcoming...

The attention to detail throughout our stay here was truly exceptional. From the quality bedding to the roll top bath attention to detail had not been spared. The building had a lovely peaceful vibe to it despite being on a main road. Little extras like fresh milk and soft drinks in the fridge made it feel like home from home,...

Although this guest house is on a main road, the rooms were well equipped with air conditioning and good sound proofed windows. The room also enjoyed a wide range of facilities such as fridge, large HD screen TV, electric blinds, iron and ironing board and complementary drinks and snacks in the fridge. En suite facilities were clean and luxurious and...

3rd time staying here and booking to come again. All boxes ticked. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and full of information for what to do and where to go. The guest house is a convenient 15 minute stroll to York Minster and the old town centre, but also on a bus route if you are less able. Excellent, well...

This Guest house exceeds all expectations. We were welcomed warmly by Tony the owner who was incredibly informative with lots of little hints and tips about York. He showed us to our room, no.8 which is beautiful. A roof room which makes it very private and also amazingly quiet which is lovely for a perfect night's sleep. The bed was...
