My friend and I stayed here on November 29th. We had a warm and cosy room with our own shower and toilet. The beds were very very comfortable and the bedlinen seemed new. There was plenty of tea and coffee plus biscuits provided in the room. The dining room is attractive and spacious. We chose the light breakfast option and...

Stayed in family room. Room was dated and quite dirty. Single bed was just wooden slats with a thin mattress. Heating not working. Stools in the room were absolutely filthy. Smelt of old cigarette smoke throughout the building. Seems like only one member of staff works at a time although they did try to be as helpful as possible. Car...

We stayed here for 1 night and were given the room outside in the annex. The room itself is a little dated, but the plus side, the bed was huge and very comfortable. The shower was very clean as were the towels. Plenty of tea and coffee on offer, with biscuits which was pleasant. The only down side was that...

We only had the time to spend one night in York and booked quite late. Our room was very basic but we only paid £71. which is very reasonable. We intended getting a cab from York station but the queue was so long that in the end we walked as Blossoms is only 10 minutes walk from the station and...

OK , it's budget accommodation but you aren't paying Dorchester/Ritz prices...It has a great location on the A19 just out of town...Out the front door turn left and it's a 10 minute walk to the centre , the Minster or the Rail Station.. Free car parking is behind the hotel...We had a room in the annex at the rear and...

We were quite worried about staying at blossoms having read the reviews on here but our fears were largely unfounded. There is no doubt this hotel could do with updating - that, of course, is factored into the price and we felt we got good value for money. First of all the the location is excellent. It is 10 minutes...

We booked a double room last minute. The hotel needs an overall. The bedroom was very tired but the bed linen was clean. The rest of the hotel needs a good clean. No reception as such so need to wait in the hallway until someone comes. Lots of cobwebs, dirty floors etc. Did not eat breakfast there so can't comment....

The bed linen was immaculate... The bed was really comfy.. It was very peaceful.. We had a room on the ground floor at the back.. The bathroom was...

Poor smelly hotel with poor smelly room, poor tight bathroom, poor uncomfortable beds and poor wifi service. Only two things were good, free parking and close location to the city center. Don't expect too much.
