Stayed one night only would have loved to have stayed longer. Allocated the 3 bed room at the rear of the car park and it was brilliant. Spotlessly clean throughout with en suite shower room. Our 7yr. Old granddaughter loved it. It was so quiet there and the beds so comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. It's ideal for the...

Very friendly and welcoming B&B. Comfortable and clean in a pleasant Victorian style. Great location only 10-15 mins walk from the city centre. Fabulous breakfast. Dogs were a surprise and as we are not dog lovers felt rather inflicted-upon. Parking a few minutes walk away but no trouble.

Linnies is a cut above the rest. Full of character and minutes from the Minster, it's a real home away from home. Steve is full of helpful advice on where to go and what to see and he may even give you a history lesson! This B&B is truly worth a visit if only for a bath in the roll...

Full of character and charm, plus a freshly cooked breakfast that is top notch. Linnie and Steve could not be anymore helpful. You can load/unload right outside but do allow a little time as you may need to park just a short walk away.

Linnie's is a truly great place to stay in York. We were treated like royalty and the room was very clean and comfortable. We had a delicious breakfast with homemade bread, plus the eggs were perfect! As we sat and chatted with Linnie and Steve in their living room, we felt like family. Thank you Linnie and Steve!

If you like B and Bs then you will love Linnie's. We stayed in a lovely, cozy, private room at the top of their charming home. The room has a nice set up for tea and coffee with little chocolate treats. The beautiful old fashioned(but modern) claw foot tub is under a romantic skylight. It is located in a quiet...

Linnies was a great place to stay! A beautiful home in a quiet area, while still a short walk from everything you'd want to see and experience! Linnie and Steve were super friendly and made us feel at home immediately and even went out of their way to suggest great places to visit (and places to perhaps not worry so...

Linnie and Steve were awesome hosts! We were passing through York on our way up to visit my wife's sister in Carlisle and picked their B & B based on the ratings on Trip Advisor. York is such a beautiful city and we really got to see some of the nuances that are often left out of travel guides based...

Linnie and Steve are superb hosts. Their hospitality is fantastic and they made us feel really welcome. Our room - the suite - was far superior to anything we could have imagined and the tray of tea choices, coffee and chocolate as well as the confectionery topped up daily was brilliant. Linnie's breakfasts kept us going all day - we...

I have never stayed in a more wonderful B&B, I wish I could give it more than 5 stars, 5 somehow doesn't do it justice I'm afraid. From the lovely warm welcome we had on arrival to the first look at our room itself, I knew I was going to love it here and I was not wrong. We had...
