Just back from 2 nights here with a Groupon. Check in was easy and the owner was very flexible ( unlike some hotels). Very cosy room with tea/coffee and everything you need. Great location- 11 mins walk from the train station and very short walk into town. This guest house is in a very pleasant area of town and we...

Spent 2 nights here on a Groupon deal and thoroughly enjoyed it. The guest house is well placed for the city centre; approx. 10minute walk through the park. Parking is by permit, on the road outside and the owner will provide you with 24hr permits priced at £5. The road itself is fairly quiet, so no need to worry about...

As always a great city to visit. The welcome and surroundings at the accommodation was spot on with a great breakfast freshly prepared to your liking. The sites around York appeal to all ages and a trip to the Shambles is a must.

Some friends stayed outside the city at a chain hotel & needed to pay for taxis in & out, breakfast wasn't included and they paid more! This guest house is in a great location. Street parking immediately outside was easy and you...

We have stayed here twice now. Friendly owners without being too familiar. Comfy bed and room. Breakfast is hearty and tasty! Great location as it is a short walk into the city and you can ditch the car for the duration of your stay. Highly recommend booking this b&b.

Our room was at the top, ensuite, nice and cosy, kettle with tea and coffees, hairdryer, iron and board! Comfy beds and warm bedding. Breakfast facilities are excellent, choice of cereals to a very well cooked and tasty breakfast! Less...

We were offered a wowcher price over the phone for the weekend we wanted and sorted everything veru quockly for us. When we arrived later than expected on check in, though they...
