We booked our daughter's wedding here and from start to finish the whole day was absolutely superb. The organiser, Bekky was brilliant. She had the day planned out to perfection and exactly as my daughter wanted it. From the arrival of the registrar and the wedding ceremony itself to the wedding breakfast for 30 (with 10 children) and then to...

We stayed overnight at The Walnut Tree to break up a long journey and we certainly weren't disappointed. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed a drink in the bar, on comfy sofas in front of a warming logburner, shortly after we arrived. The room was a little tired decor-wise, but functioned perfectly and everything was clean and...

This nice country pub has been on my list to try for some time and I recently had the excuse to take some friends here for a midweek lunch. It's delightful! The pub area is cosy and characterful, the menu is varied and interesting (I love the concept of "tapatisers") and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back...

Room was clean & spacious. We decided to eat mid afternoon in bar area, food to a very high standard and served quickly. Staff very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend rooms at back of building as much quieter. Great stay.

Well organised venue. Clean, neat and lovely decor. Very large bedroom and comfy bed. Good breakfast. Staff very nice and helpful and friendly. The only thing i would say is the food which was good and presented well is not really an everyday meal as one would expect would say a delicate cuisine. Some dishes had add ons to accompany...

The staff at the Walnut Tree are an great group of people. The reception, bar and restaurant staff were all friendly and efficient but outstanding service came from the morning cleaners , who because of a staffing problem made us a wonderful breakfast and showed considerable sensitivity when they realised we were staying in Northampton for a funeral. Thank you...

Having arranged some work in Northampton, I made a block booking at the Walnut Tree Inn based on its reviews and extremely reasonable prices. Having just stayed for my first week, I couldn't be happier with my decision to make the block booking. The hotel is warm, friendly, has lovely decor and very clean! My room rate included breakfast which...
