Building and facilities really nice from outside. And not far from city centre. But about customer service especially receptionist was very rude. I did not expect such kind of experience. And tv doesn’t work. And not clean bed. They need to improve all..

Excellent customer service especially from Reception and Karolina at the restaurant. Nice big rooms. Pleasant staff. They should be rewarded. Parking is available on site, what more would you want?

Stayed one night while visiting the Unversity of Nottingham. Really lovely welcome from the receptionist with lots of information regarding offers in restaurant and bar. The rooms were nicely furnished and had lots of usb and plug points which are really handy. We’d booked a double and a twin for our teenagers. The twin was double the size of our double room - we were quite jealous as the double room was tiny! We had dinner in the bar and the all of the staff in there (Domink, Imad, Patricia and Ioannis) were so helpful and super friendly. Even putting the Rugby World Cup on for my rugby mad husband and son. A lovely stay might just upgrade the room on the next visit.

Stayed here for three nights, with Ogdens Coach Travel. First impressions were good, modern hotel, check in was quick and efficient and we were in our room, 252 in no time. Nice bedroom, but let down for acute lack of storage space. The were only six hangers on a pole, no wardrobe. The was no drawers to put underwater shirts etc in, we basically had to keep those items in our suit cases. This bedroom would be ok for just an overnight stay, but not for any longer. Lovely clean bathroom and powerful overhead shower. Food was excellent, good variety and well presented for both dinner and for breakfast. Staff were very good attentive and friendly. I would recommend this hotel for an over night stay but no longer due to the lack of storage space.

We were visiting friends in nearby Southwell and decided to stay in Nottingham overnight. Choosing Mercure was certainly a good choice. On arrival we were greeted by a very helpful receptionist who immediately introduced us to discount vouchers offered by the hotel to use in the bar and restaurant. We chose the Priviledge King room which didn't disappoint. The room was very clean, spacious and welcoming. Fluffy towels, bathrobe and slippers, complimentary drinks in the mini fridge and lovely smelling toiletries. In the evening, we decided to try the cocktails at the bar which were expertly made by Mykhailo. They were so nice, we decided to have a second round. The following morning we decided to have a leisurely breakfast which was delicious. Well done Mercure.

The room was absolutely lovely, set up with rose petals, confetti and towel swans. Breakfast was also delicious with a fab selection to choose from. The pool was unavailable, but to make up for this we was given free 24 hour parking and 10% off food in the restaurant. Wonderful and friendly staff, Patrycja and John greeted us for breakfast and made the experience even better with their brilliant hospitality.

Had a great stay with my family. Not far from the city centre. On site parking, the room was nice and modern, the restaurant food was nice and fresh, breakfast was hot and plentiful. All staff were friendly and helpful especially John on breakfast. We would stay again.

A nice updated hotel for a brief visit. Clean for a chain hotel. Beds big and comfortable. Breakfast lovely with the ever so polite and friendly John greeting you. Just a reminder, we paid for parking at reception but they never asked for our car registration. Wasn’t until we had went to bed that it clicked, went down in the morning to mention it. Just waiting for that parking ticket…
