We stayed here 5 years ago for a wedding and recently stayed again for another wedding. The Hotel is positioned very well for walking into Nottingham. There is a lovely walk along a canal. Close by is a Sainsburys and other good shops. The receptionist who checked us in was really pleasant. The room was fantastic 2 king size beds with the most incredible pillows. The breakfast was really good and the evening meal was also good quality. I look forward to staying there again one day.

Stayed for just 1 night after visiting my daughter at the University of Nottingham. Room was spacious, looked and smelt clean. The bathroom was large with a shower. Black out curtains were great and completely cut out the light. Shower was nice and the no mist mirror was great. Breakfast was nice (buffet style). I will certainly be staying again.

We stayed here bank holiday weekend. Our stay was good, comfy beds , clean and well equipped room. However disappointed to be put in room 001 which you can hear the hand dryers and toilet chain constantly through the night. And as we traveled with a 2 year old just wish they had been more mindful to not put us so close to the entrance the lifts were constantly pinging also. No spare toiletries which was annoying as I forgot mine. Dinner was good value for money but average , nothing overly special. Staff at dinner were so lovely the f&b lady manager was so so kind!! Breakfast was not very good, sausages looked very unappetising (undercooked) Bacon very overcooked, soggy hash browns and the staff were not very welcoming and could smile a little more. The man on reception (possibly from Thailand) was again so helpful and welcoming, Overall good stay but did have a few niggles.

Thank you for getting in touch Fieldfamilyof4 about your recent visit to our hotel We greatly appreciate you taking the time to send in such detailed account, we'll be sure to discuss your points (both positive and constructive) with our department managers and review any improvements we can make. Our team in Nottingham are truly what makes our hotel so special, they all take such pride in their roles and in ensuring every guest has the best stay. Please do give us a call at the hotel ahead of your next visit so we can pre-allocate the best room available for your stay, our team review rooms carefully ahead of arrivals however over busy weekends when the hotel is full our available rooms can be limited making room moves a little tricky. Should you stay again and forget anything essential please ask our reception team, we have a large selection of regularly forgotten items in stock to offer to guests on request (toothbrushes, combs, toiletries & hygiene products), they're available to help 24hrs a day anytime. We do hope to have the chance to welcome you back again soon Kind wishes Abby Rischer - Deputy General Manager

Location is about a 15-20 minute walk from the centre. There’s a few supermarkets and chain restaurants very close by. Reception and restaurant staff were always helpful and friendly. I was upgraded to an executive room which had everything I needed although the mini fridge didn’t work but was replaced. Cleanliness and standard of the room was good. I liked the ‘Green Stay’ option. There’s power sockets as well as USB ports at the bedside. The bed was the usual high quality HI standard. Blackout curtains were very effective. Ample storage space for longer stays. The restaurant menu was ok with the standard selection but thankfully there’s a daily specials board where the chefs can produce more imaginary dishes. I was expecting to stay here for 4 weeks but cut my stay short as reservations weren’t prepared to offer me a long stay rate so moved to a similar hotel further in the city centre which did.

Thank you for your great review Sparty328 It's wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed your visit and you had chance to try some our of our chefs outstanding specials. The hotel and city are very busy presently which has limited our room availability on some dates preventing some extended long stays, we do recommend getting in touch with our team prior to arrival to confirm any long stay plans as unfortunately we may not be able to extend your stay on short notice when onsite. We look forward to welcoming you on your next visit to Nottingham - there so much to see and do, perfect reason for a return trip! Kind wishes Abby Rischer - Deputy General Manager
