We stayed here for the night just hoping for somewhere cheap and cheerful to stay after seeing a show at the Arena, saving us the hour-plus drive home. Sadly had we known prior to the show how shoddy a place it was, we would have opted to drive back that night and spare ourselves the experience. The facilities were -...

I stayed here because it was so close to work but the coldness and the noise outside (which the hotel could not help) and the lacklustre breakfast experience made for a truly unremarkable stay. You really need to look at your breakfast. Beige and dull and full of sugar and nasties. We paid almost 130 a night for that room....

OK this is a budget hotel with a budget price. It was probably once a posh business use hotel with plenty of conference suites. It is now a very big very quiet hotel with clean rooms. We stayed in a twin it was great, clean, the bathroom was spotless,. The windows a bit grubby on the 5th floor. But hey...

Stayed at the Britannia midweek (Tuesday) evening. Check-in was very quick and efficient by friendly receptionist. Requested a high floor when booking and this was met, being allocated a room on the 7th floor. Reception area and lifts very clean. Upon entering the room (712) it had fantastic views over the City Centre and South Nottinghamshire. The room was a...

Have been put up in this hotel for work and would recommend anyone who has a choice where they stay steer clear of this place! Decor is building site standard, ceiling and wall panels hanging off on the corridors by the rooms, posters in the lifts defaced and not cleaned, stained bedsheets and towels, torn and heavily worn carpet in...

I booked a 2 night stay here for our anniversary celebrations and I was absolutely devastated, disgusted, upset and let down to say the least. I was embarrassed that I'd chose such a place. It was dreadful. The images on the site looked ok, me and my fiancé aren't fussy people in the slightest so it seemed a reasonable place...

Maybe we got lucky, but after reading the reviews on here I wasn't looking forward to my stay. Managed to check in 15 minutes earlier than stated with no problems, thanks to the nice woman on reception. Had a double room on the fourth floor - looked nice and modern at first glance, but on closer look it's quite worn....
