My room was very dirty. Firstly, I found a bed bug and secondly, 20 minutes after putting clean white socks on, they had turned completely grey, covered in dirt. The whole place was very run-down and dated.
The shower didn’t drain so water flooded into the bathroom. There was a stain on bedding near the pillows. There was no breakfast (the “to go” one is very expensive for what it is). Generally kinda sticky all round. Not worth the price!
Visiting relatives in Nottingham, staying in this nearby hotel, very basic service but fairly enough for us. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is clean but a bit running down.Breakfast to go is efficient and good for us as we need to fill our stomach before starting the day.
Stopped here for a quick overnight whilst attending a wedding. The hotel is in a useful location with good links to Nottingham and surrounding areas. The hotel and rooms were clean, tidy and provided all the things that are standard for Travelodge. The staff were particularly good, on arrival Iwas greeted by Jake who was absolutely superb, extremely helpful and very friendly. The world needs more Jake's. Finally, the price could not be matched anywhere, the room was £37 for the night which is an absolute bargain.
Excellent stay, room very nice & quiet. Plenty of free car parking. No fuss just all very straightforward. Would recommend & very nice restaurant next door. Great location near to bus/ tram & walking distance to uni
Bed was comfy but the room and hotel could do with a good clean and a makeover. For the money we paid we would have expected a better experience. Overall it did the job but I doubt any of our party would stay again.
Really poor experience. Firstly, the room was BOILING with no way to make it cooler as windows don't open fully, no Aircon, just a small fan which does virtually nothing. The hotel is older, and the rooms are really poor. Damage to walls, old furniture that is falling apart and paintmarked/damaged, the only thing from this century in the room was the bed. The walls are basically paper - we could hear quite a lot, and the room we had was next to 2 sets of double doors which people constantly walk through and the door slams against your wall. Other rooms are like this too, it seems incredibly poorly laid out. There were 2 broken panels in the bathroom. Phone signal is also completely dead in the area, forcing you to pay extra for their incredibly poor WiFi. I would've been more accepting of this experience had they not doubled their rates for the weekend of my stay, but this experience for nearly £400 over 2 nights was absolutely abysmal. I will no longer use Travelodge.…
Clean family room. Only one towel, even though there were three of us in the room. No glasses for water. Carpet has seen better days. Basic but okay. Thanks to Jake at reception for the detailed check in and descriptions.
The stay was really pleasant.Jake on reception was absolutely lovely he really made me feel comfortable for my stay , he explained everything so clearly and even helped me find my room which was helpful . The rooms were clean and overall the hotel was a nice stay.
Visiting my daughter at uni but fancied treating ourselves to a night in a hotel. Had to be pet friendly as we had our small dog with us. Great value and a warm welcome from the very helpful Jake. He was so thorough and friendly in giving us all the information we needed for our short stay. He recommended nearby Nurseryman Inn for tea which was good value and also dog friendly! Hotel is shabby and needs some paint and a new carpet but very clean, comfy beds, shower fab and customer care from Jake excellent. Would definitely recommend.
