On first impression, this hotel does look good, close to the Castle and in a quiet area but plenty of places to go for food and drink. The lobby and dining areas are nice and modern and the staff throughout are friendly and attentive. I had a room on the first floor which lacked a decent view, but I have...

We visited for a concert in town. The room is good sized, clean and comfortable. The bathroom looked dated but clean. The whole hotel looks like is trying to become a boutique hotel, but they still lack the attention to detail, such as bad plastering on some walls, dated toilets... but overall it's a good Hotel, looks good. They also...

Stayed for one night on business. Communal areas/reception are quite trendy and nicely designed. My room was nice though little space around the double bed, but overall the room was all I needed. Bar staff were very welcoming and helpful. There isn't a formal dining room but you can eat in the comfortable bar area. Food was okay. Pubic carpark...

We recently stayed in room 115 and was dissapointed. The attention to detail for a boutique hotel was low. There were non working bulbs in the chandelier. Unpainted walls hidden behind doors were the fridge used to be. If you want a soak in the bath for get this room. The bath was filthy and stained, chipped and covered in...

Hotel location was great for the restaurant I was visiting. Car park next door with discounted cost if you are a quest at the hotel. On arrival staff couldn't have been more welcoming and room changed from a twin to a double on the fifth floor. Room was clean and modern with a large bathroom and shower over bath. Fluffy...

We chose to stay at St James hotel as we were going to see a show at the Motorpoint Arena. The hotel is in a great location and is in walking distance to the shops, restaurants ,the castle and also the arena. There is no parking at the hotel however there is a carpark opposite the hotel. This should have...
