FABULOUS. Enjoyed every mouthful, so flavoursome. Went last night with some friends. Service, food, all excellent. Can’t wait to go back . It’s a place that would be ideal for a special occasion . It certainly is one of my top restaurants in Nottingham and we eat out a lot.

I have stayed at Harts hotel 3 times now and every time the stay has been excellent, on my last visit my daughter was unwell and we had to stay an extra night, the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. My favourite hotel in Nottingham.

Its a pleasant place but really the rooms are too small. No where to put suitcases etc. You can live with that for a short stay because among other things they have a nice restaurant. However this time we were told on one night that we could not eat in the restaurant because it had been booked for a function. Then we were told we could eat outside. Then we were told the food would be at least an hour. Then we were advised to go somewhere else, which turned out to be closed for rebuilding. You really cannot run a hotel / restaurant and then tell hotel guests they cant eat there. They also need some staff training. We were told by different staff to park in different places , then admonished by one member of staff who told us in an aggessive manner to move the car. I doubt we will be back.

Stayed here for one night at the weekend just gone for a gig with my partner. Absolutely loved the stay at this hotel, I actually felt disappointed we were only there for the one night. It feels tucked away in a leafy corner of Nottingham city centre I didn't even know existed, despite being quite familiar with Nottingham. I liked the quirky layout, from where you come in from the car park to the reception and up to our room. A really nice experience compared to most bog standard 'box' hotels. It just had a really nice, warm feel. The garden areas looked great, though we sadly never had time to experience the bigger back one which looked very tidy and pleasant. Our room, albeit quite small, felt cosy and was very comfortable and clean. Great, modern bathroom. However, I think what I loved most was the brilliant views from our window, looking out over to the west as this part of Nottingham where the hotels sits is almost like on top of a hill. A great location too, with only a few minutes walk into the centre. Staff were very friendly too. It just had a lovely feel to it and next time I go to Nottingham I'll be looking to book here again.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. Nice powerful shower and comfortable bed meant we slept well. The only downside was the room being small and , if we’re being picky, slightly outdated deco. Would stay again for one night but small room would make a few days tricky .

The hotel is beautiful, perfectly located and the service was really good. Sadly however, the room we booked was specifically a twin which was not in anyway suitable for our needs and situation. We booked the hotel at an expensive rate due to all of the pre-mentioned factors and were saddened by the room layout, size and the fact that it was not, in my opinion, a true twin. Basically it was two single beds pushed together (with no gap). The room was also too small to address this layout. In addition, when I raised the poor twin room with reception I was advised that it was because they are a 'boutique' hotel. I was a tad taken aback given I was not questioning the style of the hotel or location, but, the practicality of the room. Picture attached so please make your own mind up before you book a twin. Overall, service good, location perfect, decor quite nice, room size and layout extremely poor.

We understand perfectly that the room you were allocated as a twin would not be ideal for two business colleagues travelling together. If you had made it clear that this was your situation we could have allocated a different room or at least moved the beds further apart. Most of our twins are allocated to couples.

We had a wonderful stay with my parents, my daughter and our dog. Staff were very helpful, the room was comfortable and very clean and having a room that backed onto the lovely garden area was perfect for our four legged friend. Decent breakfast offer and a great location right by the castle.

My daughter and her dog stayed at this hotel on the night before her wedding and her new husband joined them on the wedding night. I visited my daughter on the morning of the wedding, to help her get ready for the big day. While I was there, the staff were lovely and the room appeared to be well equipped and comfortable - big bed, dressing table, proper wardrobe, en suite bathroom with bath and shower. To top it all off, the room opened out onto a shared garden that overlooked The Park Estate.

We stayed at Harts several years ago & had a very good stay so elected to stay there again whilst visiting family in the area. We booked a superior room and were allocated a room on the top floor with great views over the Park & the Nottingham skyline. The room was reasonably clean and adequate, bed reasonably comfortable but perhaps as we had previously booked a suite the Superior room was quite small & felt quite claustrophobic. The room was also showing signs of wear & tear since we last visited no doubt as a result of the COVID situation over the last couple of years. It was also sad to see that the restaurant had moved from the original building to the Hotel bar area with a much more limited menu at nowhere near as high quality as it was previously. The mini bar in the room had a decent selection but was pretty expensive. (£2.95 for a bag of crisps!). Breakfast was ok but relatively limited in choice & not as good as when we previously stayed. However, the Hotel is in a great location, serves a purpose and we would stay there again.
