Hi all, I was late for my check in as have been working late. At the front desk was a lovely lass called Neah, she was was more than helpful as I didn’t have my check in details available! Thanks Neah, Lovely place. I will stay again most definitely
I wanted a hotel for a night out so I didn't have to drive, that was in the heart of the city. The check in was easy, the staff really helpful with my luggage (stored it for me so I could spend the day shopping!) and the room was very nice. Loved the little choccy on the tea tray!
Sheets were stained in our bed, no extra pillows provided (had to go down to reception) and the music from the bars outside kept us up until 2/3am as the bass was so harsh it’s all we could hear. But ok location
The noise in the rooms from the surrounding bars and nightlight was awful. I wasn't able to get to sleep until after 3am due to it. I did speak to the night porter who apologised for the noise but did nothing about it. I stayed on a Wednesday night and didn't expect that amount of noise
I enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay at Premier Inn, Nottingham Chapel Bar. I had a very warm welcome and agreed to have my photo taken by the gentleman who booked me in, I know this photo was for a Premier Inn staff website, a bit like facebook and would love to see a scan of the webpage that has my photo on it. The lady receptionists and other staff at Breakfast that I spoke to were all very helful and nice. My room was number 418 and had a lovely view as requested. The bed was extremely comfortable as beds always are at Premier Inn. The hot water in the bathroom was lovely and hot. I enjoyed the breakfast each morning and was impressed with the lovely selection of hot and cold food and drinks available. At previous Premier Inn stays at Birmingham and Banbury I have always stayed in a Premier Plus room but this time I mistakenly booked just a standard double room (which was lovely) but I missed the extras such as a fridge with bottles of water, little chocolate bars, a coffee maker, better quality free wifi and the lovely purple light along the headboard of the bed. I will make sure that I book a Premier Plus room next time. I am on a mission to visit as many Caffe Nero stores in England Wales and Scotland that I can and on this weekend I visited Loughborough, 7 Caffe Noros in Nottingham, Beeston, West Bridgford and Market harborough on the way home. I have visited 455 stores out of 614 so far. I don't drive and go everywhere by bus train and tram so Nottingham the Premier Inn at Nottingham Chapel Bar is an ideal location for exploring the area. Thank you for a lovely stay.…
Chapel bar is perfect for visiting Nottingham as you are central to the city really. Within walking distance of the theatre, eating places, shopping centres etc. The service is always friendly here. We chose a plus room as we were celebrating our anniversary but in all honesty I wouldn't pay a lot more for one again. The coffee machine was a lovely feature. But the air con was barely effective and certainly better in non plus rooms. Also there was a lot of noise from above and the hallway. Also miss the extra wide beds that seem to be few and far between now. If there isn't much difference I would use it again, but will probably just book a standard room in future.
The stay at Premier Inn Chapel bar was as you would expect from the chain. Our first night's sleep was ruined by inconsiderate people in the next room talking loudly all night only stopping at 6am. We reported this to reception the following morning where the staff couldn't have been more apologetic over the matter moving our room to make sure we did not have a repeat the following night, they also gave us a complimentary breakfast. I cannot hold the hotel responsible for the matter as you have to be unlucky to get such inconsiderate people staying in a adjoining room. The room itself was roomy with flatscreen TV, tea / coffee facilities, hairdryer, comfortable bed and very clean throughout.
Checked in wednesday evening with a young girl, didn’t catch her name but she had big curly hair. She provided me with an iron and ironing board, whilst also giving us a map of the city which was extremely useful! The rooms were okay, smaller in size but did the trick. The location is great with only a small walk to local facilities! will be staying again in the near future
I had to use the kiosk to get checked in as there was nobody around I pressed the button for assistance 8 times as I wanted to pay for breakfast but only had my Apple Pay and the kiosk doesn’t accept that. So I left it and thought I would just pay in the morning. When I got tour the lift and through the door I was taken back by the smell of weed(4th floor)My room was ok don’t think the hoover had been used tho as there was bits all on the floor and dust on the desk clearly this was missed. I went back down to reception to speak to somebody but still no one was around. So I decided to go and have a drink in the bar and book a a table for breakfast, when I was seated I saw who I think was the receptionist sat down talking away to her friends I thought this was very unprofessional. I don’t think this will be a choice of mine to stay again unless you sort your staff out.…
We came to stay in Nottingham to celebrate my daughters birthday. When we got to our room it was decorated and a bottle of Prosecco and some chocolates left for my daughter. Thank you to Laura and premier inn for being so thoughtful. Our room was clean and the housekeeping was helpful with giving us an extra towel and more milks. The corridors and stay could do with a clean as there was some stains on the carpet. Other than that it was a good place to stay.
