Attended Wedding in the hotel, had Wedding breakfast, stayed the night and had breakfast. We were delighted with all aspects of our stay: our room was comfortable and very nicely decorated with good quality toiletries; breakfast was very good with superb Eggs Royale. The wedding, meal etc were all very good. The small town looked very attractive. In in an...

We decided to book this hotel after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and weren't disappointed. The room was well equipped, quiet, clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom. Our only criticism is that the shower could have been a bit better.....the water flow was fairly weak and it was difficult to get the temperature right. The staff were great from start...

The "Bay Tree" is beautifully presented, fully refurbished, historic hotel building - formerly an Elizabethan private house - with attentive staff, charming, traditionally furnished rooms and an impressive dining room overlooking a delightful garden. Expectations were consequently very high as we looked forward to dinner in the glamorous dining room after a celebratory bottle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne. The only note...

The hotel was well placed for easy access to Burford shops, tea rooms etc. Very quiet location off the main thoroughfare. The hotel staff were very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation was excellent, comfortable and clean. The menu was varied with interesting selection of excellent food. We would certainly stay there again.

We recently got married at the Baytree... and had the most amazing day! From the moment we arrived Mark and his staff could not have been more helpful. Myself, some family and a few friends stayed the night before the big day and had a private dinner in the conservatory. The food was lovely and nothing was too much trouble....

We stayed in the Wisdom room for 1 night because we were attending a wedding. The room was gorgeous and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in. It was a very spacious room and the bed a super king :) it was the perfect size for a family of 3. We had French doors which opened onto...

The staff were friendly and helpful. We had lunch there which unfortunately didn't live up to the wonderful surroundings. We chose from the menu de jour which appeared to be a mistake as others had a more appetising looking selection of dishes.

We only stopped a night whilst passing through. Burford is a lovely town with a main town street running through it and the Bay Tree is just a stone-throws away from this. The room was compact but well equipped and the bed was comfy. Service was also good. The bar has a nice snug feel and although we didn't eat,...

From the very start of the planning of our wedding at the Bay Tree, everything has been special. For us, exclusive use of the hotel on the day was a massive plus. On the big day, it felt like a massive party. As a same sex couple we always felt welcome. The venue is also dog friendly, which was essential...

We attended an evening wedding reception which was great. Very friendly staff, beautiful inside and out we all had a great time. Other than this establishment charging ridiculous drinks prices it's a brilliant Venue and we had a super time.
