Open fire, stone floor, mis-matched old furniture, dart board and even a pub dog!! it's a proper old English pub, set in a nice garden, next to a river. I love the way it's genuine, not a modern pub trying to look old.

Expensive and not good value money
Had lunch on nice sunny day outside by the river with the ducks . Lovely setting nice cold cider ... But £13 for a small lasagne with a handful of chips and a lick of salad was poor ....More
Not sure if they made it initially, but had certainly been re-warmed in the microwave. Miserable landlord... And very expensive for the two of us, 2 courses and a apple juice... Not much change from £80... Find somewhere better!

Many thanks for your enquiry, we have the fishing rights for the whole stretch of the river that runs through our garden, only sections of it are suitable for fishing, due to trees etc, but there is plenty of room. The river has a huge variety of fish, Trout, perch pike, chubb, dab, greyling, roach, dace etc.
