This charming hotel, located an easy walk from the town center, has atmosphere to spare. While the building dates from the 17th century, the guest rooms are modern and accommodating. Enjoy high tea on the outside patio, drinks from their well-stocked bar, or just bask in the heat of the lobby fireplace. And exceptional service.

Was a part of our stay with Viking Cruises. Very modern and deluxe furnishings in an historic building, just a 3 block walk to shopping and the colleges of Oxford. Lots of steps and small corridors in hotel, but wonderful staff and service. The breakfast is exceptional.

This place is unbelievable!!! Charming, modern, convenient, and staffed with some of the most helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable staff members I have ever encountered. On top of that, the foods great and has a great bar. We plan to go again.

Outstanding hotel with exceptional service. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. We had lunch and breakfast, both of which were very good indeed. Easy walk into town, Colleges and museum. A suggestion to improve on perfection would be tea/coffee facilities in the room. 😉

We booked into this property in July. We were 2 adults and one older child. We upgraded to a larger, more expensive room to accommodate the extra bed that we needed. Upon arrival, the bed was in the room ready, great, but it was an air mattress and not the most comfortable. My daughter could deal with it, but for...

Thank you very much for providing such constructive and positive feedback. I am pleased we were able to resolve difficulties. Occasionally things do go awry and, as you state, it is how these problems are dealt with which makes all the difference. I was made aware of the problem regarding the tour guide you had booked. The guide is someone...

Charming hotel, well positioned, in the delightful city of Oxford. Met up with family (young energetic children) who were made to feel welcome. We didn't stay the night but enjoyed a tasty lunch inside the restaurant and later, took afternoon tea in the garden. The prices are what you would expect from this level of hotel. The staff were very...

Thank you. Pleased you enjoyed your visit and especially glad you make mention of how welcome children are. Yes, the Old Parsonage is a 'grown-up' establishment and somewhere to where parents occasionally like to escape (and I include myself and other colleagues with children here!), but we are very inclusive and family friendly. I do hope your need will arise...

I adore this unique hotel with old world charm and modern amenities. The building is charming - from the very old fireplace by the entrance, to the bright and well-stocked library that is perfect for a rainy afternoon. Our room was comfortable and welcoming with a view of St. Giles - we enjoyed the sound of the bells. The hotel...

First impressions are everything and the hotel did not disappoint - the staff are very friendly and efficient without being in your face all the time. The rooms are charming and beautifully renovated, the courtyards quaint and well maintained. It's a short walk into the centre of town. The hotel offered a complimentary walking tour - the guide Isabella was...

Asked a friend for a recommendation for afternoon tea and this was a resounding response. A small courtyard was outside the hotel where we ate, albeit on a sunny July afternoon which added to the occasion, but impressed with the attentiveness of the staff and courteous and professional manner. When booking I had advised of my wife's dietary requirements and...

Delightful hotel with lovely rooms, excellent food and well trained staff. Visitors should note that some of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. The old building, sympathetically renovated, is still quite a maze but staff are happy to help with luggage etc.
