Oxford was busy and very expensive.The Royal Oxford came up the day before at £145. Bad decision. It may have been a reasonable hotel once but it has descended into backpacker level at an expensive price. "Ring the bell to get in after 23:00."

My days in Oxford is by walking and public transit. They are efficient and bus stop is near by. You don't really need a car there. Train station and bus terminal to outside the city is only 5 minutes away.
