My friend & I stayed here for a couple of nights recently & were satisfied with our visit. It's a huge property located in a pleasant quiet residential area, an easy 20 minute stroll into Oxford, on a main bus route, & on the sightseeing bus route too. If you walk 15 minutes in the opposite direction you'll arrive at...

I stayed at this hotel for a conference I attended and it was lovely! the staff were friendly and accommodating. the rooms were clean, a bit small but very nice. the breakfast is excellent and I would stay there for that reason again. its near a bus stop, which takes about 5 minutes to downtown, or 15-20minute walk.

Small rooms and lounge lacking atmosphere but friendly service and great breakfast. It's about a 15-20 minute walk into Oxford but it is very pleasant one especially if you go through the park. Though, I feel it's a bit expensive for what you get as the room and bathroom are very, very small.

Second one night stay at Parklands before picking up the teen princess from boarding school. Same room, so same comfort: bed, good tea and decent biscuits, 2 free bottles of water, shampoo and something that I REALLY appreciate: great towels! Ones that actually cover your entire body, good quality, huge fluffy towels! This time it was a bit nippy and...

Our criteria in this order never really changes, Cleanliness, location, parking, value. This B & B met all of these hence the rating, It was very clean, was warm and welcoming. Had a great Power shower. We could park our car yet still walk into town easily. We will stay here again

Welcoming hosts - nice modern rooms. Bed was a tad on the small side for a double but minor complaint and bathroom a little small!. The breakfast room was lovely and the cooked breakfast was excellent - quality meat and not greasy. The availability of a nice sitting area was very good - not sure about the champagne cabinet though?

I chose this B&B for location mainly, but it is pretty good all around, and I would return the next time I'm in Oxford. It is quiet, has lots of pillows on a comfortable bed. There are enough electrical outlets. The free wi-fi is on and off, good when on. It is clean and modern, with great breakfasts. The staff...

Great place to stay pleasant and friendly staff breakfast was very tasty. Very comfy bed to sleep in and this hotel is very close to restaurants and a nice relaxed stroll into the centre of Oxford would definitely go back again

Our room was maybe a little compact but not a problem and that is the only slightly negative thing I can think of. The hotel was quiet, clean, friendly and attentive staff, short walk to city centre etc.Breakfast was outstanding and I stay away quite often so I have plenty to compare it with. I will definitely be staying there...
