I really enjoyed my stay at Tilbury Lodge. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very relaxing and the food great. This lodge feels more like a well organised hotel than a bed and breakfast. Foot spa's are provided in the rooms to allow for additional relaxation. Highly recommend this Lodge.

We enjoyed our stay at Tilbury Lodge immensely. And, indeed, of the six hotels/b&bs we stayed in on our recent UK journey, Tilbury Lodge was by far the best. The room was light, spacious, and immaculately clean, with contemporary decor. Wonderful amenities: bathrobes and foot massage in the bathroom; and all sorts of treats (homemade fudge, biscuits, nice tea and...

I stayed here for 4 days, wished I'd booked longer. Rooms roomy and comfortable, staff terrific and the large garden wonderful. The extras like tea & scones upon arrival and fresh baked goodies in my room every day were an added bonus. A must stay for anyone looking for a great B&B in the Oxford area.

Stepping into Tilbury Lodge we knew it was special, a clean fresh smell greeted us, a friendly welcome from Stephan who within minutes provided a tray of Tea & Coffee with home made scones & biscuits. Tilbury Lodge is well worth considering for any stay in Oxford. The links to the city centre are fine with regular buses just a couple of quid one way. The Very Good: The room I had was roomy and very comfortable, plenty of space and lots of small features that are great for a b&b and show that they take...

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. With regards to your small issues: 1.We do replenish the tea/ coffee / biscuits. Not sure about your comment as when you checked-out, your basket was still full ! 2.With regards to the shower. If you were unsure how it worked we would have shown you. At breakfast we ask all...

I am happy to admit that I must whole heartedly agree with 100% of every other tripadvisor reviewer on this B&B, in that Tilbury Lodge is a little gem; and although I have not stayed in any other B&Bs in Oxford, I can confidently say it is the best in Oxford. I am only sorry I have only got round...

We stay over the weekend and was yet again blown away by the continued level of cleanliness, comfort and value for money. Stef, Mel and the team are always willing to help and certainly make a massive impact on the stay. No other B&B in Oxford even come close.

Tilbury Lodge is the best B&B. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, and absolutely spotless. Breakfast is whatever you could want, tastes great. The location is perfect for our business trips (Oxford centre), but many use Tilbury for leisure. But it's all about people, and Stefan is the host with the most. We have him on speed-dial for all our...

We stayed here for 3 nights in late April as a consolation trip following the cancellation of a holiday due to the volcanic ash debacle. Tilbury Lodge is easy to find with plenty of parking and a pleasant welcome with tea, cake and scones for us in the conservatory, which we enjoyed while sitting in the large and private rear...
