Lovely friendly staff and a great location. Rooms are very small as is typical in cities like Oxford but the beds are well sized and was happy to find that the Bath Place bathrooms actually contain baths! (With gorgeous taps I might add) Breakfast was also very good and the service once again professional yet very friendly and personal.

This is a small hotel ideal for visiting Oxford; it could not be more centrally placed, at the end of a short passage which comes off a road with almost no traffic so it's very quiet. The buildings are 17th century, which means that nothing is level or straight; embrace it - it's truly charming. The room was a good...

I have stayed at the Bath Place Hotel four times, and if you want to immediately experience a feeling of being at the heart of historic and picturesque Oxford, this is the place to go. The hotel comprises a series of picturesque seventeenth-century cottages and buildings which have been converted in a higgledy-piggledy fashion into a charming hotel. It is...

This is one of the oldest continually operating lodging establishments - it was clean but rather on the dingy side of quirky. Had room 4 which over looks a much used pathway and The Turf Tavern - a gent was passed out on the path, right outside our window on arrival - which was incredibly noisy as promised by other...

We have been coming to stay at the Bath Place hotel since 2013. We found it when looking for a central place in Oxford to stay in when bringing our son to university here. For the past three years we have stayed at the Bath Place hotel several times a year. It has always been a wonderful, welcoming, comfortable place...

Very handy spot from which to explore this historic city. The Hotel is comfortable and simple, down a short cobbled lane and incorporates a great old pub. It was very helpful for us that they provided free parking a short walk away, as parking is very hard to find in Oxford. The city is best seen on foot and it...

A little quaint tucked away hotel that is comfortable and superbly situated. It's clean the staff are friendly there is parking what more could you want. If you're a light sleeper The Turf tavern is situated at the back but it's not open that late. Highly recommend if like something different

In July 2016 we enjoyed 3 days in the Bath Place Hotel, 2 adults and 1 child. Our stay was indeed value for money. We had a charming room with plenty of space, the Burton-Taylor Four Poster. Very comfortable bathroom - nice, large, and clean. The Turf Tavern next-door closes early (11 p.m.), and after that, nights were absolutely quiet....

I stayed at this hotel and found the staff to be very pleasant and the room was very comfortable. I did however have problems sleeping due to the very busy pub behind the hotel. I recommend this hotel if you are planning a city break in which you may be going to bed after 12pm if you plan on going...

Looking for a hotel in Central Oxford we found Bath Place. Centrally located within walking distance of the colleges, shops and restaurants. Family run this was a cosy hotel with all facilities in the rooms and a delightful lounge area and a seating area outside. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were so friendly and helpful. It...
