We stayed here for one Saturday night. We think we had the largest room (room 3) and had an additional bed for our 10 year old daughter. In our view this is not a hotel at all but just some rooms above Jamie's Italian up some steps (no left) along narrow corridors. Note to owners: jazzy wallpaper does not a...

Noisy, expensive, no facilities, loud if you have room at front. Classes itself as a boutique hotel when in fact it's pretty plain and very average. Could hear all the goings on in room behind mine. not value for money at all.

A bed and breakfast (not really a hotel, because, apart from the rooms, there are no other facilities). On George Street, trendy and safe, surrounded by restaurants, clubs and late night shops. Very easy walking distance to the main attractions of Oxford. The place has been recently rennovated to a high standard. The rooms are pretty small, but the bed...

Stayed here with a group of friends when we all went to stay at the beginning of July. We picked this hotel due to its location and we were not disappointed - the hotel is right in the centre of Oxford, so it meant we were really close to everything we wanted to do and see including restaurants, sightseeing and...

Great location in the centre of Oxford, staff helpful and room was clean and had everything we needed for a one night stay. Had a 3 bed room with my husband and daughter - the extra bed was made up and ready when we arrived. Main- and significant -drawback was the noise from the street, particularly from people queuing outside...

Dear guest, Thank you for posting your review. Very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay and the staff were helpful. The city centre can be noisy at times.

I had an enjoyable stay at the Bocardo. Contrary to the negative reviews, it wasn't noisy. I am a light sleeper and was a little wary after reading the reviews on trip advisor. However, it had been a nice experience. The room was clean and tv and aircondition were working well. I have started recommending it to my friends. While...

My husband and I stayed here for one night on a Saturday. As the hotel is on one of the liveliest streets in Oxford you will need to remember bringing ear plugs with you (as we did :-)) Bathroom and room cleanliness were excellent. Lovely Loccitane toiletries and a good selection of teas, coffees & hot chocolate. The bed was...

Located above Jamie's Italian KItchen in George Street central Oxford this Bocardo establishment /accommodation is not good. How on earth they have 5 AA stars, glory knows? The entrance is right on the street, double yellow lines, and you are confronted with steep stairs to a small landing which houses the reception desk, not always manned. Our room was up...

Sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay, but we are in the Heart of the City and in the same block as the Theatre. George Street is full of restaurants and pubs and cafes. Parking in any City Centre is a problem. We always try and make our guests stay as comfortable as possible.

There's no lift, so be warned! Heft them bags or forget it! But friendly reception, more stairs and a lovely albeit small room, nicely decorated, nice bath and great beds. All it needs is a small refrigerator and 5*'s! Crazy George Street muffled by lots of window glass, & lots of good food nearby. Enjoy!
