Having spent two nights at this charming hotel for Christmas, I can't recommend it enough! The staff were very helpful...offers of help to get our luggage to our room! All the waiting and bar staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful. The food was really good, with fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. The room was large and very comfy with lots...

Stayed for one night last week. Have stayed several times before and it was ok. But following the somewhat insulting and disappointing experiences of last week I'm afraid the Parsonage Hotel has won my business back. Check in was quick although the receptionist was largely unhelpful. However it was 3 other things that you should be aware of: 1. The...

Booked a single room here months ago as part of a Xmas party booking. Easy to find the hotel, the car park is quite small so there is no guarantee of a space. The staff really make this hotel, everyone I met was super helpful and kind, they are it's best asset in my opinion. However, the hotel is badly...

Spent a few days at Cotswold Lodge and all in all it was a pleasant stay. Great location and in general the hotel had a nice feeling to it. However there is no lift to your room and no help with luggage which is a bit of a set back. The breakfast could be greatly improved and service staff should...

Hi Two friends & i stayed on Saturday 10th December at Cotswold Lodge, each having our own room. On arrival reception staff member was a bit surly but we were able to leave our bags & took a stroll in to Oxford which is only a short walk away. On returning to the Hotel we met out 3rd party member...

Very nice room, and nice atmosphere. The personnel is very friendly, and the superior rooms are great. Standard rooms (cause I have experienced both) are fine, quite clean. The breakfast can be considered good, however they are not able to provide you with no other coffee than filtered. An hotel of that category must do espresso, cappuccino, etc. But I...

This hotel was in a very convenient location for me, as I was running a workshop at one of the university buildings about 5 or 10 minutes walk down the same road. I just stayed one night and was pleased with the friendly services and the fact I could park my car overnight (and left it there until the afternoon),...

Check in was very good and staff friendly. Breakfast was basic and service was not great having to chase up for our order to be taken. Prefer when have buffet option...

It is odd to review a hotel at which I have not stayed, but here it is. Necessarily, these comments are limited to pre-visit communication. I booked two nights at Cotswold Lodge through the Classic British Hotels site and was confirmed, receiving email from both entities. Shortly after, I received email from the Hotel, informing me that on at least...

Stayed here for two nights for work, was pleasantly surprised. I was able to park in the hotel grounds on arrival, which also did not appear to be an issue for the duration of my stay. Its proximity to local amenities was of a pleasurable walking distance (10 minutes to town centre, 5 to local bars/shops) if you are inclined...
