The location is great and the historic significance of the site is fascinating. I found the stairs difficult when you are carrying heavy luggage- there is another way of getting to the wing I was in- but had to discover for myself-which is a pity. But that issue dealt with- the room and facilities were lovely. So I would have...

Very good value and attentive staff. Best bit was that we had a private room for a party of eight. We had a leisurely meal that kicked off with a glass of prosecco that was included in the set price. It was much more than brunch - it was a four course meal, and you eat a lot or little....

Lovely venue pleasant staff BUT....... not the best at delivering meals for a Christmas party of 55 people. Veg arrived too long after mains therefore went cold. Special requests don't bother!!!! They got their dinner after everyone had finished eating and only difference in the meal was no sausage on the turkey plate! When it came to desert they didn't...

We stayed just one night in Oxford at the Malmaison. Our room was not in the main complex but in an annexed part that was actually above the Slug and Lettuce pub in the main courtyard. The hotel does not disappoint and the room was very comfortable. However we were there on a Friday night and because our room was...

Fabulous setting. Very close (3 minutes) from Oxford City Centre. Rooms very well done. Breakfast not included (should be bearing in mind cost of rooms). Didn't eat there as expensive but restaurants right outside.

For business, it hits the right spots. As a tourist, you have to try it -- just because. But, it's removed from Oxford (not geographically, but in its essence) despite it trying to maintain a heritage link. The breakfast is exceptional as you can order nearly anything off-menu (eggs benedict). The grounds are worth meandering around no doubt. I'd stay...

where should I start? The food was amazing, the views were magical, the staff were lovely. The surrounding grounds were very beautiful and lovely to walk in. The bathroom was extra spacious, and luxurious, making a shower or a bath super divine... The bed was very spacious, where even when our daughter joined us -horizontally of course- we hardly felt...

So authentic staying in the cell rooms, wonderful furnishing and very comfy beds, although the pillows were a bit soft for our liking. Enjoyed the whole hotel design and our meal down in the brassiere. Unsure why the parking is so expensive? The only downside.

The concept of this is great and we had such a lovely stay, the superior cell is 3 cells into 1 - 2 cells for a bedroom and 1 for the bathroom. The rooms are nicely done and a very comfy bed :) It did get a bit hot though as u can't get fresh air in, and I would...
